"La Belle Echappée" is the name of the Sports Cycling Museum at la Fresnaye-sur-Chédouet (near Alençon) - a very special place to visit, dedicated to the history of competitive cycling (particularly the Tour de France) from the beginning to the present day. Loads of bikes and jerseys belonging to Tour competitors, film and video, a really fascinating homage to the giants of cycling.
