Jascha Heifetz (was a violin virtuoso born in Vilnius - then Russian Empire, now Lithuania on 2nd February 1901 – he died on 10th December 1987). He is widely regarded as one of the greatest violinists of all time. Here he plays the first movement of Tchaikowsky's violin concerto in D conducted by Fritz Reiner.
