Katie Price and Pete Andre set for court showdown

Katie Price and Pete Andre are set to come face-to-face in court this week as he sues her for slander.

It comes after the model and businesswoman made allegations that Pete and his manager Claire Powell were an item when she appeared on the Graham Norton Show and in a subsequent magazine article.

However both Pete and Claire deny the allegations and it has been reported that Katie has since paid an undisclosed amount to Claire and issued a statement accepting that her allegations were untrue.

Both Katie, 32, and Peter, 37, are expected to testify when proceedings kick off on Thursday 7 October with each side thought to have lined up witnesses to take to the stand.

Up until now, the real reason for the couple's split has been kept a closely guarded secret, but there is speculation that the case will reveal this.

Katie and Peter have two children together, five-year-old Junior and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii.
