Could Alfie Allen be the new Hugh Laurie or Stephen Moyer? Lily Allen's brother is following in their footsteps by starring in a US TV drama.
"I'm doing a series for HBO called Game Of Thrones. I'm playing Sean Bean's ward. I have to do an accent, which will be fun," revealed Alfie.
Game Of Thrones is based on the fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin and is expected to hit screens in spring 2011.
Alfie, 24, is happy to mix TV work with stints on stage and in film. He will next be seen playing Russ Mountjoy in the movie SoulBoy:
"It's a film about northern soul. The Wigan Casino - that sort of stuff. I wasn't really a fan of northern soul before the film, but now I am, I love it," he said.
He stars alongside Martin Compston and Felicity Jones in the feature, which is released on September 3.
