Filipinos in British Columbia will showcase for the very first time different cultures and traditions of the Philippines in the streets of Vancouver dubbed as “Pinoy Fiesta 2010: Unang Hirit sa Tag-init.”
With the support of Mayor Gregor Robertson and city councilors, the City Hall has given the green light for a Filipino street parade to be held on August 14 from Multicultural Helping House Society, 4802 Fraser Street (cor. 32nd Avenue) to St. Patrick Church Ground, 2881 Main Street at 10:00 am.
