Two killed in US school bus crash

Two US school buses packed with children have crashed into a lorrry, leaving two dead and at least 50 others injured.

The crash took place on Interstate 44 near Gray Summit, 32 miles west of St Louis, Missouri.

Missouri Department of Transportation spokesman Jorma Duran could not immediately say whether the two dead were passengers on the buses.

Franklin County Sheriff's Department said up to 50 people were injured in the collision.

The buses were carrying students to an amusement park roughly ten miles from the crash scene.

One of the buses mounted the truck from the force of the collision. Details about the injuries were not immediately known.
