Today, Monday 26th July, Access to Citizenship has been named as a finalist in the 'Best Health Project Category' of the National Lottery Awards 2010. The awards recognise the amazing work being done by lottery-funded groups across the UK. The aim is to highlight the significant difference that projects - both large and small - make to communities everywhere and to celebrate the achievements of the people behind them.
Access to Citizenship works with 100 young people with learning disabilities in the North West area, to enable them to play a full part in society. The project offers further education options, advice and training to find employment, as well as personal and social development courses.
