Tom Hardy talks about his new Mad Max role

Hunky British actor Tom Hardy has been discussing his latest film part in the remake of Mad Max.

Hardy plays the lead role in the film which is currently in production and says he is not daunted by taking on such an iconic character:

"It stands to be a fantastic revisit. It is something I am very excited about."

He says he hopes that fans of the original films will also embrace the new project:

"I'm going to take some casualties on it. It would be wrong not to expect that, but if I was worried about that then I wouldn't have taken the job."
