Germany's national football team was the pride of the country's soccer fans during the World Cup. Many young people shared the highs and lows of the tournament at public viewings.The young side was easy to identify with. They play attractive football and favor teamwork above individualism, and many of the players have migrant backgrounds. Germany also got a positive reception among international football audiences. Now critics are warning against overdoing the nationalist sentiment. But many young Germans are taking a relaxed attitude.
