Alistair McGowan takes off Gerrard and Murray

TV impressionist Alistair McGowan has been getting topical with some sporting impressions.

The comedian spoke to reporters at a pre-Wimbledon party at Kensington Roof Gardens in London where he impersonated England captain Steven Gerrard and tennis star Andy Murray.

He went on to explain that the most difficult sportsman to take off was former tennis player Greg Rusedski.

"I struggled with Greg Rusedski for a long time because he sounds very much like David Schwimmer".

Other celebrities at the party included Venus and Serena Williams.

Gavin Henson also made an appearance on the red carpet, his first showbiz event since his split from Charlotte Church.
