Group Captain Sir Douglas Robert Steuart Bader CBE, DSO & Bar, DFC & Bar, FRAeS, DL (21st February 1910 - 5th September 1982) was a Royal Air Force fighter ace during the Second World War, credited with shooting down 22 German aircraft despite being a double amputee.
