In Shrimad Devi Bhagwad, Guru Bhraspati and Guru Shukracharya say that sins can't be forgiven whereas the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita say that sins can be forgiven. It shows that even the Gurudev of Devtas (Gods) and Rakshas (demons) did not have complete knowledge.
