The Singing Boys was a group especially formed for a few recording sessions. I'm not sure whether the personnel was always identical, but in this case it consisted of Smith Ballew, Cyril Pitts and Tom Muir (v) accompanied by Pete Pumiglio (cl), Adrian Rollini (bsx), and possibly also by Al Duffy (vln), Tommy Felline (g) and Stan King (d). This excellent recording was made in early 1929.
