She mastered ice skating on one hit TV show, now Melinda Messenger says she is ready to take on a new reality challenge.

"I would love to do Strictly [Come Dancing]. I'm thinking now that I can do the dancing on ice, take the blades off my feet and I'll be brilliant. That will be my famous last words!," said the presenter.

"[Strictly] I think will be great fun to do. Anything where you push yourself, or learn something new is a lot of fun," she added.

The former glamour model appeared on the fourth series of Dancing On Ice, but found herself voted off by the judges in week seven. But Melinda only has happy memories from her time on the show:

"It was such a brilliant experience. I used to go in everyday and think I'm being paid to learn how to skate and dress up in fabulous little sequinned outfits and play around on a Saturday night which was brilliant."
