Germans are world champions when it comes to sorting and collecting waste. Germany already exceeds the European aim of reusing 4 kilograms of waster per inhabitant.

Recycling trash and electrical waste already means the German economy saves seven billion euros of raw material imports a year. In Germany about two million tons of electrical waste are collected and recycled by companies such as Alba. Report by Maria Lesser
