3021 opens with the Crossroads text 'driving' up to the front of the screen, as it did in episode 1 in 1964. (And did for around the first year of the soap). However its after the 3000th episode celebrations (the TV Times Crossroads 3000th front cover can be seen on the table.) But being October its too soon to mark the shows anniversary on air.
