The leaders of the three main parties are now participating in the final televised debate.

Earlier, clear winner of the first debate, Nick Clegg, faced questions from an angry student who said his plans for helping jobless youngsters was just a "glorified piece of paper".

Meanwhile, David Cameron arrived in the city saying there was "a lot riding" on the outcome of tonight's debate.

Labour unveiled its latest election poster portraying Gordon Brown as a man of "substance" against the "style" of David Cameron.

The debate is set to focus on the economy but there is bound to be a reference to Gordon Brown's gaffe.

Mr Brown visited the house of Gillian Duffy to apologise after he was overheard calling the grandmother 'bigoted'.
