This specific band seems to have recorded only one record. It comprised several great jazzmen and was led by Dick Johnson (clarinet and alto saxophone). Further personnel: Miff Mole (trombone); Red Nichols and possibly Earl Oliver (trumpet); Jack Pettis (C-melody saxophone); Arthur Schutt and an unknown musician (piano). The banjo and tuba players are unknown. This outstanding record was made in 1924.
