A German manufacturer open the New York International Auto Show with a big bang. Mercedes just commences selling the road version of the SLS AMG super sports car - and there is already the world premiere of the gullwing's race version. The according to GT3-rules designed racer was joined in New York by the premiere of the face lifted R-class and the E-class T-model with 4Matic.
