Hope For Haiti, India Cares was the name of this fund raising event, initiated by US Consul General Paul Folmsbee with the help of friends like French CG Francois Pujolas, Canadian CG Marvin Hildebrand, Argentinian CG Fernando Ras, Gul Kripalani, Sudesh Sonawane, Kaveer Shahani, Atul and Alka Nishar and Piloo Tata.
