MINT Polo in the Park 2010 Launch event with Jodie Kidd

‘Polo in the Park’ 2010 has been launched by its ambassador Jodie Kidd today (3rd March). Hot on the hooves of Team London’s historic victory last year in the World Polo Series, Jodie will be announcing a shake-up to the new Twenty20 rules of play – a new Formula 1 style that’s accelerating polo from a pass-time into a professional sport.

As part of the latest groundbreaking rules, there will now be eight teams in total – that’s four more than last year. They’ll each lose a player, meaning there are just three players per side. What’s more, there needs to be a female member in the team and they’ll be playing on a smaller pitch. That means more speed, more goals and more spectator interaction.
