Long disregarded by the international creative market, artists from emerging economies are now going global. It is often difficult for them to sell their work at home, and many are targeted for their political activism.But the international arts scene is slowly starting to take notice of these artists. Their works are also being showing at international art exhibitions, like Documenta in Germany.
