Violinist Diana Yukawa - Shizumanu Taiyo Film Premiere

Violinist, Diana Yukawa appeared at the film premiere of Shizumanu Taiyo on 24th October in Ginza, Japan alongside the cast and crew of the film. She also graced the audience with a performance of “Little Prayer” the track she recorded for Shizumanu Taiyo. “Little Prayer” has also been included in Diana’s album “The Butterfly Effect” which went on sale 21st October in Japan.

Shizumanu Taiyo is the famous story by Tokoko Yamasaki. Set in the 1960s based around Hajime Onchi, the chairman of the employees union for a giant national airlines corporation. His reward for fighting for better working conditions for the staff is a series of postings abroad, to Pakistan, Iran and finally to Kenya, a destination to which the company does not even fly.

The cast include’s Ken Watanabe as Hajime Onchi, Koji Ishizaka, Kyoko Suzuki, Yasuko Matsuyuki and Tomokazu Miura. Shizumanu Taiyo is the biggest budget feature film Japan have ever produced.
