00:00You both, you make a lot of independent cinema, Reservoir Dogs, Ghost World, for you Miss Posay, Doom Generation by
00:10Greg Araki, Basquiat.
00:12Why you have accepted to make this Wild Horse Nine?
00:18I was at Venice a few years ago when the Banshees of Isherin was playing and I got to know
00:24Martin then, even though I had met him before, you know, briefly.
00:28But we got to hang out and, you know, we really got along.
00:33So I'd like to think that that helped, you know, when he was casting this part.
00:37Oh yeah, Buscemi, he was fun to hang out with.
00:41That's what we used to do, you know.
00:42That's what we used to do, you were just there.
00:45You would hang out, you know, and people, you know, you'd get parts.
00:48And you know Sam from way back.
00:51Way back, yeah.
00:51How did you meet him or did you just run into each other?
00:53We did In the Soup together.
00:55That's right.
00:55Yeah.
00:56Alexander Rockwell.
00:57That's right.
00:58And so, yeah, and, you know, I think we both love ensemble films, you know.
01:04I mean, I know this has the two leads, John and Sam, but what's brilliant, what Martin does is he
01:10writes great parts for everybody.
01:12It doesn't matter how big the part is, you know, every character is interesting.
01:17Their movies aren't really made like that anymore.
01:20And so this is like a throwback to those movies.
01:24And I was very excited.
