00:00Both renew acquaintances here at Stamford Bridge.
00:03There has been high drama in the build-up for Sporting after the dismissal,
00:08but on the opposite wing, Gleiko Mendoza scored the decisive third goal against AEK Athens on this ground.
00:15Fotis Uranidis joins a forward line spearheaded by the irresistible Luis Suarez.
00:22Shakhtar, meanwhile, have their own hopes of securing qualification to the knockouts.
00:30Off and underway in West London, Stamford Bridge, the venue for two sides
00:35with genuine ambitions of making it beyond the league phase.
00:39Good turn by Marlon Gomes.
00:43Mendoza.
00:45Menacing.
00:47Aouni Son.
00:48Plenty to aim at in the middle potentially here.
00:51Look how many sporting players are back behind the ball.
00:53Pedro Henrique and a relatively straightforward stop for the number one, Rui Silva.
01:04Very experienced Pedro Henrique, even for a 24-year-old.
01:14Felicisimo.
01:18Jerry Katamo got to horrific pace and trickery.
01:21Anderson to dink it in.
01:23Araujo.
01:25And somehow Shakhtar survived.
01:31Delivered by Araujo.
01:33Kharishma was up there.
01:35And Anderson over the top.
01:42And with a flip.
01:50Bondar in the back post with a three-header.
01:56Marlon Gomes.
02:00Time for Nazarene to deliver.
02:03And over the top by Elias.
02:06Well, that is the chance of the match so far.
02:12Wonderful whip on this delivery.
02:14Kharishma.
02:16That is half-time.
02:18A tight first half here in West London,
02:21but a lively one full of enterprise and intrigue,
02:25individual battles all over the field of play.
02:34And so, play resumes in West London.
02:39Lively throughout the first half from a sporting perspective.
02:42Had a great battle with Pedro Henrique.
02:47Suarez.
02:48Suarez.
02:49Lovely touch away from Bondar.
02:51And just wide.
02:54His best goal scorer.
02:57Looking to turn provider here.
03:01Dumpir with an instinctive touch.
03:09Nearly a beautifully orchestrated goal.
03:13Mendoza.
03:14One-on-one with Jenny Catarbo.
03:16Goes on the outside.
03:18Elias.
03:19And he's there.
03:21And turned away by Nassia.
03:23And via the initial block from goalkeeper Rui Silva.
03:30And Shakhtar going close.
03:40There goes Jenny Catarbo.
03:43Slightly short with the pass.
03:45Elias.
03:47He's been eager to get involved.
03:50Okaretko.
03:52And Vinicius Tobias.
03:56Another burst from Addison.
03:58Araujo.
04:05Araujo.
04:06Araujo.
04:07Araujo.
04:07Araujo.
04:08Araujo.
04:09Well, plenty of drive in the way that he's played tonight.
04:16Anderson.
04:19Ioanidis.
04:22Araujo racing to get forward on the overlap.
04:28Sergi Al-Temiru.
04:39Sergi Al-Temiru.
04:45Anderson.
04:47Towards Suarez.
04:49And it's turned in by Dumpir.
04:54Sporting breakthrough at Stamford Bridge.
05:01The Italian takes the acclaim.
05:13Much to the delight of the travelling support.
05:18And Shakhtar find themselves behind just before the hour.
05:24Issa Dumpir.
05:26Both his goals for the club have come in the UEFA Champions League.
05:31On the mark again.
05:37Sporting.
05:37Boyd by the goal.
05:40Araujo.
05:47He's won it back off Tobias.
05:50And fairly so.
05:51Oh, and it was nearly two.
05:54And flying at it, Luis Suarez.
05:58In the street to win it back.
06:02Precise with the delivery.
06:04The sort of delivery that Suarez often thrives on.
06:08Flung himself at it.
06:09Did get a touch.
06:12One by Jenny Catarbo.
06:15Quaresma.
06:16What a save.
06:19And then Araujo.
06:21No at all.
06:24Back to Vinicius Tobias.
06:28And Enias.
06:30Goodness me.
06:40Oh, and back by Nehuton.
06:42Issa Kwe.
06:43In goes Anderson.
06:45Now Marlon Gomez.
06:47And suddenly emerges with it.
06:50On it goes.
06:51And Rui Silva.
06:53Gets to the rebound as well.
06:57Overly stretched the goalkeeper.
07:00Perhaps.
07:03He didn't need to make the save.
07:06But can they.
07:08Find a goal to draw themselves level.
07:11They nearly did.
07:13Turned away by Rui Silva.
07:17Between him and Salazar.
07:19They force Chantar to go again.
07:24Bondar is on the overlap here.
07:25Anderson may not need him.
07:31Well, some in the crowd thought it was in.
07:33But again, it's the young Brazilian carving out the chance.
07:39Off the outside of the post.
07:41And he swung again.
07:42And Araujo again.
07:45Sergi Altimira.
07:47Well played.
07:48Pedro Henrique.
07:54Elias.
07:56He thought it was worth a go.
07:58And it probably was.
08:00Rukaretko again.
08:02Can they find the gap?
08:05Tobias.
08:09Rukaretko.
08:10What a ball.
08:11Oh, and the header.
08:13Back from now at all.
08:14Straight at Rui Silva.
08:18And.
08:19With that.
08:22Do.
08:24Shakhtar's hopes.
08:25Well, the late point end.
08:29That was the chance they've been waiting for, Luca Meredes and Lucas Ferreira.
08:34Here is Luca Meredes.
08:36And he looked for Elias.
08:43There is a hard-fought victory for Sporting.
08:49Well done to Thiago Fernandez on what has been a very difficult 24 hours or so at the club.
08:55Oh, I have to.
