00:01Stephen, after the short program you told me blank slate, just putting that behind you, this looked really confident tonight.
00:09Take us through the free skate.
00:11Yeah, today started the morning off actually a little bit angry about what happened yesterday in the short program, which
00:17is quite unfortunate considering the type of training I've been able to put in. Although it's been very limited for
00:23two weeks, I'm pretty happy with what I was able to perform today, and it was a good fight. I
00:29fought for every element, and I think I put out a decent performance for what I was able to do.
00:34The path to greatness isn't going to be a straight line. I know you know that, but what are some
00:39of the learnings you're taking away from this moment that was disappointing and angry, but your ability to bounce back?
00:46Yeah, I think since I haven't competed in a while, it was a different approach also given my preparation for
00:54this competition. I only started doing axles two weeks ago, and currently we weren't able to do any quattos in
01:02the program because of my foot injury, but with what I was able to prepare for this competition, I think
01:09I need to build more confidence in myself, and I think that was something that was lacking yesterday.
01:14But the kind of anger and frustration from yesterday kind of kept me going today.
01:18Igniting the fire within. All right, Stephen, I appreciate this. Thank you.
