00:00So you're building a home studio and the echo is driving you crazy,
00:03I went down the rabbit hole of rolled acoustic cotton so you don't have to.
00:07Here are the top 5 deals for recording studios, ranked by what people are actually buying.
00:13Starting with number 1, a single 30x100cm sheet of flame-retardant polyester fiber
00:18wool that works as speaker cabinet lining or wall treatment.
00:22At just $7.12 with over 4,600 sold and a 4.9 rating, this is the cheapest way to
00:28test the
00:29waters, grab one or two panels, see how your room responds, then scale up.
00:34Number 2 is a bit of a curveball, it's actually a 5 or 10mm closed cell foam sound deadening mat
00:39for
00:39cars, but studio folks keep buying it for door seals and floor damping.
00:441250 gets you a huge 2000x500mm sheet, it's rated 4.8 from over 4,400 buyers,
00:50and it's perfect for sealing gaps where sound leaks out.
00:54Number 3 is the self-adhesive insulation wall, fire-resistant, noise-reducing,
00:58and it sticks straight onto roofs, doors, floors, or an engine hood.
01:03Yes, it's marketed for cars, but at $29.61 with a 4.9 rating and 4,100 plus sold,
01:10people are lining studio walls and ceilings with it because the adhesive backing saves
01:14you a fortune in mounting hardware.
01:16Number 4 is the one actually designed for studios, a rolled polyurethane acoustic absorbing
01:21sheet made specifically for soundproofing recording spaces.
01:25At $7.16 with a 4.8 rating and 3,500 units moved, it's the classic first purchase, cheap
01:32enough to buy several rolls, and it handles the mid and high frequencies that make vocals
01:36sound harsh.
01:38Number 5 is the budget wildcard, another 30x100cm flame-retardant polyester fiber sheet, basically
01:44the same concept as number 1 but $7.31 with a 4.6 rating.
01:50Slightly lower score, but with over 3,200 sold, it's a solid pick if the first option is out
01:56of stock or you just want a backup panel for corner bass traps.
01:59So there you go, links to all 5 are in the description below.
