00:00So you want to bring real arcade energy into your home jam sessions, but don't want to spend a
00:04fortune? I went digging and found the best deals for the top 5 arcade mainboards, and honestly,
00:10a couple of these are kinda ridiculous for the price.
00:13First up, the Retro Neo Geo MVS Motherboard. This is the real deal for fighting game fans,
00:20running actual MVS cartridges so Metal Slug and King of Fighters feel exactly right,
00:24with that authentic pixel crunch and no emulation weirdness. At $70.42 with nearly 4,800 sold and a
00:32perfect 5-star rating, it's the most authentic option on this list. If you want maximum games
00:38for minimum cash, the 9,800 in 1 Pandora Saga DX2 Plus Family version is wild. It's a JAMA board
00:45with 3D support and up to 4 players, so you can have friends over and keep everyone busy all night.
00:51At just $32.71 with a 4.9 rating, this is the cheapest way to get a full arcade library
00:57going.
00:58Now, if you're actually building a cabinet, the same 9,800 in 1 Pandora Saga DX2 Plus comes as a
01:05full DIY kit with an 8-way joystick and American-style push buttons. You get the board plus the controls
01:11in one box, which saves you a ton of shopping around. It's $57.87 with over 4,100 sold, and
01:19it's
01:19the easiest starting point for a bar-top build. Want a huge library and modern hookups? The DX
01:26Pandora Saga box with 26,800 games is the one. It's a two-player board with HDMI and VGA out,
01:34so you can run it to a monitor, a TV, or a full cabinet without extra converters.
01:395 stars, $58.82, and over 3,600 sold. It's the biggest game list here for under $60.
01:49And don't forget the controls, because a great board with a mushy stick feels terrible.
01:54This detachable shaft joystick is a Sanwa-style copy with a mini Pandora box,
01:58works for arcade and pinball setups, and the detachable top makes it easy to pack away after
02:03a jam session. At $10.68 with a 4.9 rating, grab one or two. All the links are in
02:11the description
