00:00If you've ever tried to skate across a flat section on an icy day and felt your back foot
00:04slide out from under you, you know exactly why a good stomp pad matters.
00:08I dug through thousands of buyer reviews to find the top 5 snowboard traction pads for icy rides,
00:13and these are the ones people actually swear by.
00:16First up, the PVC clear grip mat, and honestly, the price is kind of ridiculous for how well it
00:21works, just $7.83. It's a clear non-slip sticker, so it disappears against your board and doesn't
00:28mess with your graphics, but it grips like crazy. With nearly 5,000 sold and a 4.9 rating,
00:35this is the no-brainer pick if you want cheap, invisible traction without thinking about it twice.
00:40Then there's the B48B 36-piece stomp pad set at $11.98, that's 36 individual grip pieces you place
00:47exactly where your boot lands. You get full control over the layout, which is great if you ride with
00:53an odd stance or want traction right along the edge of your board. Nearly 4,900 sold and a 4
00:59.8 rating
01:00say people love the customization and the pieces hold up through wet, slushy days.
01:05Next, the 20-piece anti-slip stomp pad pack for $8.09. This one's a favorite for riders who want
01:12a
01:12dense, studded texture underfoot, those little pads bite hard when things get icy, and 20 of them cover
01:17plenty of board. Over 4,000 sold at 4.8 stars, and at this price you can reapply or share
01:23with a
01:24friend and still come out ahead. If raw grip per dollar is your goal, this is it.
01:29Number 4 is a step-up in build quality, the aluminum anti-slip grip mat set for $11.10.
01:36These compact traction tiles are metal, so they don't wear down the way foam or rubber pads
01:41eventually do, and they look sharp on the board, too. It's got a 4.9 rating and over 3,800
01:47sold,
01:48which tells you people who ride hard and ride off and keep coming back to this one.
01:52And finally, the silicone anti-slip stomp pads at $8.79.
01:58Silicone stays grippy when it's wet, it's lightweight, and it won't soak up water or ice
02:02up like some softer materials do perfect for those cold, sketchy days. Over 3,800 sold with a 4.9
02:09rating,
02:10and it's the easy pick if you want something simple, durable, and budget-friendly.
