00:00You must have been asked to write memoirs and books before at this point in time.
00:05Yeah, I had.
00:05So, why did you pay?
00:08I'm 82.
00:11No, I just thought it was probably time.
00:15I took a break.
00:17You know, Dad wrote about, Kirk wrote about nine books.
00:21He wrote a great autobiography.
00:23And so I started to think about legacies, you know.
00:26Dad and I, together, have got probably 135 movies over eight decades and all of that.
00:34And all three of my kids are actors now, too.
00:37But the real reason, my memory.
00:40I'd forgotten so much.
00:42And I reached a point in life now where I realize the only thing that matters is your friends, your
00:47family, and what you remember.
00:51So, I am, you know, doing this whole exercise and process of going back, starting in 1944, and finding whatever
00:58information I could about the family, has been fabulous.
01:01So, I've got a whole bunch of new memory thoughts to keep in my mind there for at least a
01:06day.
01:07But, but, but there is, no, but there is, but Michael, there's.
