Sam Cox (@mrdoodle) is an English illustrator and mural artist celebrated for his “graffiti spaghetti” style—dense, monochromatic doodles that snake across walls, objects, clothing, and entire spaces. His signature compositions teem with imaginary characters and symbols drawn in thick black lines on white backgrounds. From an early age, he doodled obsessively—covering his schoolbooks, bedroom walls, and furniture—developing an immersive visual language he dubs “DoodleLand”. His first major solo exhibition, “Attention Seeker” (2016), transformed London’s Hoxton Gallery into a continuous doodled environment—walls, floor, columns, even dining furniture . In 2022, he undertook his most ambitious project yet: covering every surface of his six-bedroom house in Kent in doodles—over two years using 900 litres of paint, 401 spray cans, and thousands of pen nibs. #art #painting #artist #doodle #drawing
