Storms developed quite quickly to our south west. The temperature the day before peaked at 31.5°c in Meopham. On the Saturday (the day of the storm) it was 21.2°c just after 9am. By mid afternoon the temperature had dropped dramatically and at one point the temperatures was 12c cooler than at the same time, the previous day.
