00:01:03special smackdown on friday but before we get any of there tonight monday night raw this is the raw
00:01:12recap i'm sam roberts megan marant here with me and megan we start the show with adam pierce and
00:01:20this adam pierce believe it or not has his plate full again that's that's fitting for adam pierce he
00:01:27always has a lot on his plate yeah this guy doesn't need a a bite his plate is always full
00:01:32everything's full around adam pierce royal rumble full how's your plate full that's it the card
00:01:38tonight full full full and they didn't even know he shows up in front of the crowd and you know
00:01:43there's you know something's cooking when he that's what he has his face right now he's saying
00:01:47why you guys keep making fun of me for saying royal rumble's full that's january it's october
00:01:52why are you still doing that megan and sam that's it it's just one of the great all-time moments

00:01:57was awesome but you know things are going to get interesting when unannounced adam pierce is starting
00:02:03a monday night raw and they did get interesting because he makes the unfortunate announcement
00:02:11that stephanie vaquer has not been cleared of injury so we've we last week stephanie vaquer and
00:02:21becky lynch made the agreement that once stephanie was cleared the two of them would have a number one
00:02:26contenders match to find out who would be the first to face live morgan for that women's world
00:02:31championship that stephanie vaquer lost then we find out midweek stephanie vaquer is indeed cleared
00:02:39yeah she saw she put a video out on social media yes and it's and we go fantastic now we
00:02:45find out
00:02:46tonight she is not cleared and so what do we have in front of us well adam pierce decides to
00:02:53skip
00:02:53right to dessert and announces that on monday night raw we're getting the women's world championship
00:03:01match we're getting becky lynch versus live morgan i like that i like that out of the general manager
00:03:06because you know what they say your best ability is your availability and i mean this this title needs
00:03:12to be defended stephanie vaquer is not available becky is so there we go championship match i like it
00:03:18and it's your duty to put on a good show that's right if you're gonna pivot make sure you pivot
00:03:24into
00:03:24something bigger something better go straight to that women's world championship match and it is
00:03:30something that you have to uh uh make a decision on it's not such a layup because i was just

00:03:36about it earlier today the idea that becky lynch versus live morgan is a massive match that is a
00:03:43match that you can spend weeks and weeks and weeks building that is a match that you can advertise and
00:03:48promote or that is a match that you can look at an arena full of people and go hey guys

00:03:57it's happening tonight in the main event we always hear that right you and you always hear the crowd
00:04:01reaction they go like oh you want to see that match the crowd goes yeah and they go well it

00:04:06two or three weeks and the crowd goes okay well i was really hoping right now it'd be nice adam

00:04:10says right now and earlier you know before the match as monday night raw progressed and we'll get into
00:04:17what else happened with adam pierce of course as monday night raw progressed live morgan was
00:04:21concerned about it very concerned i mean you could see the look all over her face and she was backstage
00:04:27in the judgment day clubhouse and i mean there was a lot going on in the judgment day where cal
00:04:32rodriguez had a match against yo sky and live you know didn't have time to really process any of that
00:04:39because she had to focus on getting ready to defend her title which she she didn't seem ready to do
00:04:44at that time live doesn't like defending the title no holding the title that's the whole strategy
00:04:49it's a brilliant strategy by the way live morgan's entire strategy as a world champion is to win the
00:04:56title and then just hold on to it for as long as possible live morgan has never come out and

00:06:19last person you'd want to defend a title against is the person that all of a sudden you're not sitting
00:06:26there and watching him you know watching her go to war against stephanie vaquer hoping that maybe
00:06:31even if becky were to win maybe stephanie does something horrible to her that's going to make
00:06:36it a little bit easier to take her out no with no prep with no nothing live morgan shows up

00:06:42and finds out she has to defend the title against becky lynch are you describing becky lynch as a
00:06:47threat huge threat wow why is that wow do you not consider her a threat no i do i always

00:06:54why were you the biggest threat yeah but it's just there was a time when you didn't see becky that

00:07:21again where becky belongs yeah i would agree becky lynch main eventing monday night raw but by the way
00:07:27where live morgan belongs as well yes i yeah i mean incredible main event it feels like a main event
00:07:34and this match well also right from the beginning live morgan's body language like typically she makes
00:07:40that entrance and the song bite me and she does the twirl around how does it go trouble trouble
00:07:47that's me no i mean the song that was the song i just did it okay go ahead i just

00:07:54okay go ahead she does the twirl and typically live morgan in all of her glory is run
00:08:05she's almost just like shoving it in your face that she's the champion big smile on her face big
00:08:10laugh yes but tonight was different for live morgan i would agree live morgan was wearing her feelings
00:08:17all over her face live morgan because live morgan is is somebody who i believe likes to be in control
00:08:25as champion and likes to go out with a plan i think that that's part of the whole you know

00:08:31trouble that's her like even when she's walking into a match if she's planned on that match there's
00:08:36a plan at play this is something that they put weeks into dominic mysterio has laid out exactly what
00:08:42this match is going to look like on 2k 26 he's ran the simulation over and over and over again

00:08:49you know he's got five stars every time and they're always playing it in the clubhouse so i
00:08:54see what they're doing they're running simulations watching watching the tape it's like watching tape
00:08:59you watch tape you run simulations you come up with a strategy and i mean listen it's been working
00:09:05i hard in the last decade it's hard to imagine a faction save for maybe the bloodline that's been
00:09:11more successful than the judgment day so i you know you can't really knock their strategy but they
00:09:17didn't have time to to implement that strategy because pierce got him now it's time to go and
00:09:23adam pierce does have an anti-judgment judgment day agenda and has had one for some time i don't know
00:09:28about that it's like very obvious he like loves when the judgment day is in peril it is true i
00:09:34mean
00:09:34when when the royal rumble was full it was full for finn balor when finn balor was in the judgment
00:09:39day finn balor had to leave the judgment day and also leave monday night raw to get opportunity
00:09:43yeah that's kind of crazy i mean look at what i mean dominic mysterio gets gets the shaft every time
00:09:49from adam pierce every time jd mcdonough
00:09:54not treated fairly i mean every single time they go in there they think okay this is going to be
00:10:02my
00:10:02night and then adam pierce comes up with some nonsense and now here he is going okay you have
00:10:07to defend your title against one of the greatest of all time and they don't have enough time to run
00:10:10those simulations and they didn't run any of the simulations so becky and live come out for their
00:10:15match and it is everything you want in a championship match it's live morgan reminding everybody why she's
00:10:25got that title that it's not a fluke why she's been called a ring general by triple h himself it's
00:10:34becky lynch reminding everybody what makes her the man what makes her the person who was defining this
00:10:42this whole uh space on the card for years i mean you see we're looking at a photo right now
00:10:50of live
00:10:51morgan coming out she cannot believe that she's got to deal with this tonight and that's typically not
00:10:56the look she has when she makes her entrance no it isn't not even a little bit but guess what
00:11:00cry about
00:11:02it you know what i mean it says it right behind her so we get into this and live goes

00:11:06maybe you don't want to put that chip on live morgan's shoulder you know what i mean maybe you
00:11:10don't want to give live morgan a reason to prove you wrong because i think that's what she went out
00:11:15there she went out there with intention and i mean this match built and built and built to the point
00:11:22that you get becky lynch kicking out of oblivion and that was a quick oblivion i mean becky wasn't even
00:11:29near the ropes for a second snap live morgan saw that opportunity snapped but it wasn't enough
00:11:36only a two count becky lynch responds with a manhandle slam manhandle slam immediately after
00:11:44two count not enough for live morgan yet now we're and i love the back to square one moment in
00:11:49these
00:11:49matches i love when you have that that moment where you've brought in everybody up oh oh oh and
00:11:54then boom two two back to square one let's see where we're both at let's see at this phase in
00:12:01the
00:12:01match who's got what it takes to carry this through you had a uh uh becky locked that disarmor
00:12:09on on on live morgan and it looked like death for live morgan truly did you talk about being nowhere
00:12:16near the ropes center of the ring locked on live morgan is reaching for whatever she can find
00:12:23reaching for life reaching for some way to maintain her status as women's champion of the world
00:12:33but then becky lynch turns to her right and what does she see here they come raquel rodriguez
00:12:41and roxanne perez and i'll tell you this if becky lynch had had time to prepare for this match which
00:12:48she did not she wouldn't have known that this was going to happen right away but if becky lynch
00:12:52had had time to prepare for this match then she would have clearly known that the judgment day is
00:12:58going to make their way out there talk to anybody that's faced live morgan in the last i don't know
00:13:03months and months and months when was the last time the judgment day didn't make their presence known
00:13:09i can't recall that's what happens when you have a family in wrestling that's as strong as the
00:13:15judgment day they want to be there to support each other and that i think it's a beautiful thing
00:13:20you know roxanne perez raquel rodriguez you have jd you have dominic and the whole world
00:13:27the whole and that's what that's what brings the judgment day together the whole world wants to
00:13:33besmirch them wants to destroy them wants to discredit them but they have each other and that's
00:13:39something the whole world doesn't have you don't have friendships like that no i don't i don't i mean i
00:13:44don't that sucks you don't either though no but everybody likes me you know what i mean so it's
00:13:50a little different i don't know about that no no i don't i don't know if everybody likes you most
00:13:55the vast majority i don't i don't know about well regardless how that relates to the judgment day
00:14:01anyways but but by the way i'm i do have friends in the judgment day so it's kind of like
00:14:05that
00:14:05you know what i mean me and dominic and jd and i think you guys are cool i don't know
00:14:09we're cool
00:14:10friends but you're cool jd and i have a lot in common okay great i have a lot in common
00:14:16with a
00:14:16lot of people that i'm not friends with wow you have a lot of people you're not friends with but
00:14:22just because you have a lot in common doesn't mean you're friends i'm setting you up for a big head
00:14:26joke so i missed that one i missed that one that's okay you do it's okay i'm we're firing
00:14:35i do like though that the minute that i said it you went ah that was right there
00:14:40i should have brought my mint so so the judgment day uh uh come out and they just caused the
00:14:49distraction at first and i thought becky lynch did a great job dealing with the distraction
00:14:54realizing like okay i've been a part of this before and that's the thing about becky lynch
00:14:58she's done it all she has seen it all she is so well that it actually turned out that raquel
00:15:04rodriguez hits roxanne perez right right becky lynch has been a part of every conceivable scenario
00:15:11that's part of being a trailblazer okay and it leaves the judgment day no choice but to get to
00:15:19this point and there was that moment you want to talk about those moments where you think it's over
00:15:23like it really felt like oh my gosh at 8 p.m when we walked into this show we thought
00:15:30we're
00:15:30getting a number one contenders match and now it looks like becky lynch is going to become
00:15:34the women's champion of the world when when she gets back in the ring and we've seen this before
00:15:39right it looks like she's on top because she's taken out roxanne perez she's taken out raquel
00:15:46rodriguez except that gives live morgan enough time to recover that's part of the strategy these
00:15:52judgment day members will be shields for one another and when becky gets back in the ring
00:15:57it has given live morgan time to recover except becky expected it because live thinks she's going
00:16:03to hit an oblivion and no becky lynch avoids it goes for a manhandle one two here come raquel
00:16:13and here come roxanne throw the whole match out we're gonna we're gonna try to give you a decision
00:16:19okay but if we can't get the decision in our person's favor we're just gonna ruin the whole
00:16:25thing it's out of here and they do and then we get into a it's almost as good of a
00:16:29strategy as not
00:16:30defending the title yes right yes it's like i'm not gonna defend the title because i i don't want to
00:16:36i just want to keep it right and if you make me defend the title i'll just get my people
00:16:40involved
00:16:41it's the same school of thought yeah right right i'm not gonna defend the title you have to defend

00:17:11and then you just kick the board over and you go this game's stupid i didn't want to play this

00:17:14begin with that's the judgment day strategy who wants to play clue we're kids for god's sake
00:17:21that's the judgment day strategy you know so the the match gets thrown out and then now the judgment
00:17:27day is using their numbers now they're just tantruming now they're taking it out on becky lynch
00:17:32here comes chelsea green of all people to make the save chelsea green who of course
00:17:38will be in that crown jewel championship match against live morgan i mean it did the thought
00:17:45did flash into my head while i was watching this match if becky lynch had won tonight on raw
00:17:51then we go to crown jewel and we see chelsea green and becky lynch one-on-one which would be
00:17:56fantastic and not something any of us had on our bingo card but something where it's like okay now
00:18:02we're gonna see something yeah now look instead live morgan and live morgan and chelsea green is
00:18:08still live morgan and chelsea green i think is a massive test for chelsea green yes i agree to to
00:18:14see how on business she stands yes chelsea green i mean like like to see how seriously she takes that
00:18:24role as wwe women's champion and if she's past that point of well gee i can't believe i've won the
00:18:31title
00:18:31and is now no no no no i know lives here but i'm an equal and i'm going to take
00:18:37the crown jewel
00:18:37championship as well yeah that's what i feel like from chelsea especially after you know the moment
00:18:43at summer slam becoming the interim champion and then everything that happens with the orbital bone
00:18:48one of the most amazing segments i've ever seen on friday night smackdown be the the promo that she
00:18:53almost lost oh yeah yeah yeah fantastic yeah but now we're not happy to be there anymore
00:19:01no we're there we're there and i'd like to see chelsea green make a statement right yes except
00:19:07the match almost got shifted again because chelsea green comes out eos guy comes out and you know we're
00:19:13seeing this back and forth back and forth live morgan ends up getting laid out what time is it
00:19:18it's tiffy time here comes tiffany stratton and this is why money in the bank season is really the best
00:19:25oh because it's happening at all times we just saw her try to almost well attempt it i would say
00:19:31i think it's fair to say she attempted it on smackdown this is the second time she's literally

00:20:30the cards now all of a sudden your brain starts going wild with all the different ways the show
00:20:36could end now right now that it's all now it's not going to be becky lynch and stephanie vaqueira
00:20:42in a number one contenders match now this match is happening so you're like oh my god all of a

00:20:46it's possible that becky lynch leaves with the championship it's possible this it's possible
00:20:50that now because of everything that's gone down this thing that was supposed to be all the way
00:20:57over on one side finds its way to the other side and it's all because of that little change of
00:21:02stephanie vaqueira not being able to be on the show and i start going oh my goodness we could have
00:21:07tiffany and chelsea yeah exactly crazy and that's something we've talked about we would love to see
00:21:12tiffany versus chelsea but i never in a million years expected we'd get it coming off of monday
00:21:17night raw but here we are if danilo is not so slow right with his alligator arms right we realistically
00:21:24i think could have had it live morgan is laid out right in the middle of the ring to your

00:23:29are not caught every year it feels like champions are caught a little bit less and less off guard well
00:23:36people are getting smarter they're getting smarter and they're realizing like not only do we have to
00:23:40defend our titles like always we have to be avoiding this thing like we have to be aware of what's
00:23:46going
00:23:46on at all times and i'm sure that the judgment day as a unit is aware of all that so

00:23:55i mean we don't know what stephanie vaquer's status is in terms of length of time we don't know if
00:24:00it
00:24:00was just a one week setback or we don't know what it'll be
00:24:04becky lynch's problem here is that when stephanie vaquer is back i don't think that becky lynch is
00:24:12owed another number one contenders match i think that she got the result already she didn't get the
00:24:19belt she had the match one okay cool that had the match one that and nine bucks will get you

00:24:25coffee and nine bucks is a lot well this economy it's crazy things have gone crazy okay don't get me
00:24:31started but that and 82 will fill up your gas tank okay don't get me started okay so i think

00:24:48started so no but my point is that like she got her title shot she wasn't successful in securing the
00:24:59championship i don't think i i that that's the risk you run of getting everything you want right now

00:25:21all of them at the top of the card plus everybody that was in that money in the bank briefcase
00:25:27match plus you know we'll talk about it a little bit bailey and lyra valkyria everybody is going to
00:25:32want a shot at that title and i know becky had the line in a world of flash in the
00:25:36pans i am the flame
00:25:39she can be the flame but live morgan instead will be the champion and that's where live will stick to
00:25:44it and i think i don't know becky lynch is a little bit up the creek as far as you
00:25:52know demanding
00:25:52another championship match goes but if stephanie comes back you think she should just jump the line
00:25:58i feel like if you're not ready that's part of that's part of it well you weren't ready you missed
00:26:03your opportunity look at all these other people who are ready you just don't want stephanie vaqueria
00:26:07to get an opportunity out of spice you're hating on becky i'm not hating on becky she lost the match
00:26:12she did but i was happy she technically lose it was it was thrown out well in order to this
00:26:19is the
00:26:19the the champion's advantage in order to win the championship and this is something that becky lynch
00:26:25knows unbelievably well i know she's taken advantage of this advantage many many times and that's why
00:26:32they call it an advantage because you can take advantage of it but she understands the rules of
00:26:38this thing she's a highly decorated superstar she's been champion over and over and over again
00:26:44she's held all the titles the intercontinental title the world title the women's title all of
00:26:49the titles some of them at the same time yes becky two belts that's what they call her tag team
00:26:54she's done it all she understands that if you don't pin the champion or make the champion submit
00:27:00and you could argue that there were two moments in that match one where she was ready to have the
00:27:06champion submit and one where she was ready to pin the champion but the moments didn't happen they
00:27:12didn't finish they didn't pay off and and and you can asterisk it up and down but it happened
00:27:22you know i know and i think becky is gonna have to make a hell of a case to tell

00:30:20booing the wwe champion and sammy stood you know he admitted he was wrong he thought fresno knew ball
00:30:29that's what he said he said i thought you knew ball fresno and and apparently they do not and he
00:30:35starts talking about all the people that get cheered right he starts talking about you know
00:30:40you cheer trick williams because he tells you how great he is and you just believe him and you cheer
00:30:45cm punk because he says he's the best in the world and you just believe him and roman reigns you
00:30:50should
00:30:50just be acknowledging him and you just believe him and sammy zane goes on this diatribe about how he
00:30:57doesn't get the credit he deserves because he doesn't brag about it as he is bragging about all the
00:31:04credit that he deserves he said that he is the reason that wwe is on netflix right now and he
00:31:11is
00:31:11responsible for the bloodline achieving the level of success that the bloodline achieved he said
00:31:19he was responsible for the bloodline's greatest era where do you stand on that sammy was part of
00:31:27my favorite bloodline era i will say that and what were some of your favorite moments of that era
00:31:34when we were feeling usi that's sammy zane moment probably the end of the royal rumble that's the
00:31:42sammy zane moment the match against roman reigns in montreal that's sammy zane moment all of the
00:31:48backstages with him and jay uso and jimmy uso and tribal court oh tribal court was great sammy zane there
00:31:55was a lot of talking smack segments where it ended with sammy and the usos going to waffle house
00:32:00i loved that i there was i love waffle house i know you're a big waffle house guy yeah but
00:32:07listen
00:32:08there is no doubt you cannot make the argument that sammy did not add to the bloodline he did add
00:32:16to it
00:32:16quite a bit you cannot make the argument that he didn't raise the bloodline up right along with him
00:32:23but you can also not make the argument that sammy zane's status was not raised up alongside what
00:32:32was already the biggest storyline in professional wrestling you cannot tell me when he brings up
00:32:40getting shut in a mousetrap at wrestlemania 38 and then winning the tag team championship in the main event
00:32:47365 days later at wrestlemania 39 you can't tell me that was simply because sammy zane made the bloodline
00:32:54bigger this is this is this is a a symbiotic relationship okay this is this is i scratch your
00:33:03back you scratch mine yes sammy zane was a was a key part of the bloodline but the bloodline was
00:33:10just as
00:33:10big a part in sammy zane those moments aren't happening if you don't have the bloodline as well
00:33:19if you don't have roman reigns showing up in the summer of 2020 if you don't have roman reigns
00:33:27smashing them and stacking them if you don't have the work that the usos did alongside roman reigns
00:33:34solo sekoa coming up from nxt and being alongside the usos and roman reigns this thing building and
00:33:41building and yes sammy zane came and was an incredible layer of icing on one of the most
00:33:51spectacular cakes that have ever been produced you know a lot of people say icing is the best part
00:33:56though i know those are uncultured people that don't have palates worth mentioning coming from you
00:34:02exactly thank you i appreciate the compliment i mean you know what are you going to sit down
00:34:07with a can of icing and just eat the icing some people listen i understand no you're going to eat
00:34:11a delicious piece of cake for all the parts that it is and guess what i'm going to say it
00:34:19because he
00:34:20brought up the bloodline okay oh sammy zane sammy zane the best part of the bloodline right that's what
00:34:27he said right sammy zane got us on netflix sammy zane did all this right and he could brag about
00:34:33it
00:34:33but he's not going he's not going to not going to brag about it okay we just talked about sammy
00:34:38zane in the main event of wrestlemania 39 and he deserved it and sammy zane's amazing yeah but who
00:34:43was in the main event of wrestlemania 39 and 40 and 41 and 42 and 38 and 37 and 34
00:35:00and 33 and 32 and 31
00:35:04was that sammy zane no that was that was roman reigns that was roman reigns you could tell me
00:35:13two main events were an accident you could tell me three main events were because he was put in
00:35:21the right position to succeed but you can't tell me that somebody main events and main events and main
00:35:28events how many times he main event wrestlemania 40 twice twice he main evented wrestlemania 40
00:35:35by mistake because sammy zane was a part of the bloodline he main evented wrestlemania 40 twice
00:35:41and then what did he do after he main evented wrestlemania 40 twice main evented 41 and what
00:35:46did he do after that he main evented 42 and then he main evented summer slam
00:35:51he main evented every every ple there is he's main eventing him so this idea that sammy zane is
00:35:59scooping up all that credit putting himself on that pedestal and then going you know i didn't put
00:36:04myself on this pedestal is lunacy i do like how he takes something that a lot of us feel is
00:36:11true
00:36:11right like your favorite part of the bloodline was that sammy zane era right that run favorite part
00:36:18but that doesn't mean that sammy zane is responsible so he takes his truth and spins it yes because and
00:36:25here's the thing perspective and look i understand i'm a roman reigns guy okay you i know i know you
00:36:33i didn't know that usually i come across very unbiased typically yeah what i mean yeah yeah i use bias
00:36:41yeah i mean i i use bias like elizabeth holmes lies never never in our lives do we do something
00:36:51like
00:36:51that i saw the movie okay never but the the the the the people trying to jump in and put
00:37:01themselves
00:37:02on that roman reigns level it just gets to be a lot because there is just so much like like
00:37:09i'll sit
00:37:10there and say well sammy zane can't take credit for bloodline and being on netflix because of the
00:37:16other parties involved because it's like yes sammy zane was such a strong part of that era but the
00:37:23people on the other side of him were also such a strong part of that era then you go okay
00:37:27well then
00:37:28how come you can give roman reigns all that credit then wouldn't he need the other person on the other
00:37:33side of his story and yeah that's true except who's the one that every story he's on that side of
00:37:42is at the top of the industry roman he's the common factor he's the one that's there every
00:37:49single time and everybody else can go remember this period of time where i was the man that's because
00:37:54of me remember that period of time i was the man that's because of me but roman reigns was there
00:37:57being the man every period of time all of them all those ones that are being discussed roman
00:38:02reigns was on top for and you just don't get there by mistake it doesn't happen it's impossible
00:38:06it's a physical impossibility and i love sammy zane and by the way sammy zane was right
00:38:13i like that while he wasn't bragging or talking about how good he was he was saying you could put
00:38:19the name sammy zane alongside nobody unless your name is sean eddie or kurt and i love that i love
00:38:26that for sammy zane and sammy zane does have every skill that you can possibly want to have as a
00:38:34professional wrestler and he is beyond proficient he excels at all of those skills sammy zane is
00:38:41right i agree with sammy zane when he says that he is proof that you can be wwe champion and
00:38:47still
00:38:47be underrated because he is underrated and he is that good and i love this serious side of sammy zane
00:38:54and on one level i love that he's owning it and he's taking ownership of of all of his success
00:39:00no one's done less no one's done more with less than sammy zane that's what he said right
00:39:04yeah but at the same time there's certain moments where i'm gonna have to go whoa whoa and that was
00:39:10the bloodline moment for you for me that was the bloodline that's when you said we gotta check
00:39:14ourselves but sammy also because the last thing we'd want to do is wreck ourselves so before we do
00:39:19that we got to check ourselves always always yeah gotta check him right there right but he did call
00:39:25out all the haters who were always uh pointing to roman's schedule he's like roman's not here he
00:39:31didn't and he said he said i could i could say what everybody else says and in doing that he
00:39:37said
00:39:37it's not here but i'm not gonna do he did it in saying i'm not doing it he is doing

00:39:43i love this tactic right yes he's saying here i could brag about it but i never do right i

00:40:25this is a different sammy zane this is a more roman reigns like sammy zane because sammy zane tells
00:40:32javon evans that with all due respect and he is going to treat him with respect he doesn't have
00:40:38to treat him with any respect and that javon evans shouldn't even be looking at him in the eyes
00:40:43that is that's like old roman too yes old roman who do you think you are is what sammy zane
00:40:50is
00:40:50saying to javon evans and again maybe it's not the greatest tact in the world
00:40:58but it's not all false either there is a level that sammy zane is playing on that he is not
00:41:05getting
00:41:05credited for and if he sees younger guys maybe not putting that respect on him maybe it is time that
00:41:14sammy zane spoke up for himself puts him in his place you know he finally wins this wwe championship
00:41:19and everybody is booing him i could see him feeling a type of way about it yeah and typically like
00:41:24a
00:41:24younger person like javon if you get to share the ring with the wwe champion that's something
00:41:31that's a big big deal and for to for javon to just walk up to sammy the way he did
00:41:37and sammy put him
00:41:38in his place i kind of get it well attempted to put him in his place javon evans has been
00:41:42a much more
00:41:42aggressive javon evans as of late lately yes and i think that i think that he's also owning his
00:41:49moment hey going through an ambulance changes you i've only heard i've never done it myself but i
00:41:55could only imagine that yeah it would make it so that nothing is quite the same after falling off
00:42:01a ladder through the roof of an ambulance it is kind of crazy because since he's done that hasn't
00:42:05missed a day of work that's a while that's a wild accomplishment truly that is pretty outstanding
00:42:12for javon evans yeah and it wasn't just going through the ambulance and he shows up at work the next
00:42:17day and braun breaker spears him spears him again and then he shows up at work again and then braun
00:42:23breaker spears yes yeah it keeps happening it's very cyclical but it's also not like he just
00:42:29fell off a ladder through the roof of an ambulance he had also just competed in the money the bank
00:42:33ladder match exactly like in real time it's crazy it's nuts what he's doing so as sammy zane goes look
00:42:40i'm done with all this adam pierce who really does i mean this is an emotional leader okay this is
00:42:47a guy
00:42:48who leads with his emotions says now sammy zane has to defend the wwe championship against javon
00:42:55evans and boom here we are i think this all is is uh is a little bit unfair of pierce
00:43:02to do right we are
00:43:03just make champions defend the titles well just weeks away from crown jewel and and here we go
00:43:10sammy you got to defend the title now we were one match away from javon evans versus roman reigns
00:43:14right jewel and roman reigns called it roman reigns said with your track record sammy i don't know if
00:43:21you're gonna be the champ i know i don't even know if you'll make it to crown jewel i was
00:43:25harsh
00:43:25terrible way harsh ty it's tough terrible it was tough but it has been happening all around we saw
00:43:33you know chelsea had to defend the title live had to defend the title titles are gonna get defended
00:43:38the title yeah roman hasn't had to but you know you mean roman hasn't had to he's been defending the
00:43:43title but not this close to crown jewel it wasn't like pierce showed up and said roman tonight i would
00:43:48love him to i dare him to right we'll see how that goes for pierce yeah it's full full oh

00:43:53what are you sure yeah no it looks like it looks like it's not anymore no yeah no no have

00:43:59the way pierce sits in roman reigns dressing room he knows no he knows there's room on that card i
00:44:05mean remember when when the match was made between the usos and solo versus the 946 who made the
00:44:12match roman yes roman made that yeah hey adam i have news for you here's a match for next week
00:44:16yes sir that's it yes sir and good for adam pierce he should be doing that yeah everyone should but
00:44:21not for sammy zane adam pierce makes the match it's a hell of a match it's tremendous at one point
00:44:27sammy zane tries to escape penta stops him from escaping has to get back in the ring uh but
00:44:35eventually even though javon evans almost got sammy zane javon evans ends up eating a halluva kick
00:44:41one two three sammy zane wins walks out still the champion but before he walks out outcome the vision
00:44:48outcomes brawn breaker and sammy zane is looking at brawn breaker no stranger
00:44:54and he's looking down at javon evans who's laid out and sammy puts his hands up whatever you got
00:45:01to do i'm paul that's between y'all i'm gonna get out of here as soon as i saw breaker
00:45:06i go oh no is
00:45:07he coming for sammy or is he once again going after javon evans oh he's going after javon evans he's
00:45:12teaching a lesson now it's interesting that sammy decided to go like okay i'm not i don't have anything
00:45:19to do with this because that's not the again that's not the old sammy no but this is a sammy
00:45:25who's looking to keep the wwe championship and he's got enough enemies got like 15 enemies looking
00:45:31for the title on smackdown he doesn't need another one in brawn breaker so he steps away and i mean
00:45:38penta tries to make the save but it doesn't work no not at all you have penta and javon evans
00:45:45absolutely destroyed by the vision you have javon evans spear tsunami penta spear tsunami and
00:45:55brawn breaker and bronson reed and logan paul arms in the air an absolute victory and they needed this
00:46:04the vision has needed a night where they come out fully on top and here they are again now they're
00:46:11going to have to carry that forward because as they're getting checked in the medical room adam
00:46:16pierce goes to penta and javon evans and says hey what do we want to do here and they demand
00:46:23a tag team
00:46:24championship match the match is made crown jewel it's the vision versus javon evans and penta for the
00:46:32tag team championship do you think after both getting tsunamied after javon evans not ever healing
00:46:39anything nothing do you think now is the time that they should demand a tag team championship
00:46:45no bad idea a terrible idea wow i think it's a horrible idea because coming off of money in the
00:46:52bank to me brawn breaker was the mvp of that match even though he didn't win i mean he looked
00:47:01absolutely devastating and destructive in the money in the bank ladder match but guess what
00:47:07didn't walk out with the briefcase who did penta and who's got the tag team championship match
00:47:11penta penta's got the opportunity to carry a title and the briefcase at the same time but i feel like
00:47:17coming out of money in the bank and not winning that briefcase that chip on breaker's shoulder
00:47:22oh bigger and bigger and bigger you're cornering the dog that's right and that dog that dog wants out
00:47:30yeah yeah i mean that's the test right and i feel like it's horrible timing right now
00:47:36i mean i get it for for anybody yes for penta and javon to face this brawn breaker and
00:47:44bronson reed bronson reed needs to prove himself because he lost to obafemi in his return match
00:47:50and brawn breaker needs to prove himself because you're right he's at a couple of moments where he's
00:47:55come across as the aggressor and he's come across as an absolute killer he's got nothing to show for
00:48:00but he hasn't won the match so it's like what do you do what do you do in the face
00:48:05of adversity
00:48:05when you have a setback like money in the bank and that's up to brawn breaker and bronson reed i

00:49:39be the mentor in this situation lyra was dissatisfied with her mentorship lyra snapped lyra became a ghost
00:49:46that haunted bailey lyra became a whole new person and then she stopped getting them wangs out yeah
00:49:53but a while ago a while ago she also stopped sleeping it looks like it does appear that she
00:49:58stopped sleeping she was consumed by her need to put bailey in her place and she had some success
00:50:04in matches against bailey but i think what she didn't consider is bailey's desire for justice is
00:50:12bailey's desire to remind people who she is because bailey would she might go down but she wasn't out
00:50:19never and at some point those roles got reversed where the ghost that haunted became bailey haunting
00:50:27lyra valkyria bailey stalking lyra valkyria and putting lyra valkyria in a position
00:50:34where she didn't know what to make of it she couldn't look over her shoulder i mean what
00:50:38happened last week when she was terrified that bailey was behind her she accidentally slapped
00:50:43lola vice in the face that's right and then she got introduced to lola vice real quick on monday
00:50:50night raw and not in the way you want to no not in the way anybody wants to no no
00:50:54no no no and then
00:50:56bailey makes you talk about people making matches bailey's the one that not didn't offer this
00:51:01didn't request it made the match bailey versus lyra valkyria no dq no disqualification and from
00:51:10the very beginning i mean it they wanted to take full advantage of these no disqualification rules
00:51:17i think bailey walked in with a simple mission which was to leave no question here let the winner be
00:51:23the
00:51:23winner without anyone sort of trying to figure out well i don't know what if well what about this what
00:51:29nope end of story here when it comes to who wins this match and you saw it and you saw
00:51:35early on
00:51:36bailey trying to set up that table and lyra almost doing that roll kind of over the table that was
00:51:42on
00:51:42its side to attack bailey uh you saw uh at one point uh uh bailey taking the belt off from
00:51:50around her waist
00:51:51and just attacking lyra valkyria on it that that table that was set up on the broadcast death desk
00:52:00that joe tess and wayne barrett were using yes allowing for that suicide dive through the ropes
00:52:07through the table i mean it was absolutely insane look at that shot these women tearing each other
00:52:15limb from limb uh you had you had that one moment where there were the two chairs that were standing
00:52:21and facing each other and bailey almost placed like in between the chairs almost so her body
00:52:28made like a v angle and lyra going up for that moonsault only for bailey to move and lyra to
00:52:35land flat
00:52:37on both chairs there was my favorite moment where lyra tries to bait bailey no no bailey don't do it
00:52:44don't do it bailey don't do it and i'm going don't trust her bailey don't trust lyra i know this
00:52:50is your
00:52:51former friend but don't trust her and then bailey ends up putting lyra right through the trash can
00:52:56oh it's incredible absolutely power bombs are right through the trash can through the trash can that
00:53:03night wing off the two chairs like standing up on top of the chair seats and night winging off um
00:53:08but ultimately i think that that the elbow drop off the top rope that was sick all the way down
00:53:19to
00:53:19the outside of the ring through the table put lyra in an untenable position oh untenable untenable
00:53:29you say that all the time untenable that lyra was in wasn't going to be able and then once i
00:53:35mean
00:53:35she had a little bit of fight left in her but she she missed that strike with the kendo stick
00:53:40goes down
00:53:40bailey grabs the kendo stick cross face not only did bailey win this match she won by submission bailey
00:53:48stands strong and i think not only tonight did bailey and lyra put on a show that we're all going
00:53:55to
00:53:55remember not only did bailey beat this rival this fierce rival of hers but i think bailey reminded
00:54:04everybody what it means to be a member of the original four horsewomen of nxt what it means to
00:54:13to be bailey why she is this this foundational pillar of the women's division and why maybe
00:54:24maybe we haven't been talking about or thinking about bailey quite enough when it comes to the
00:54:31highest places in the women's division i would love to see that i mean we spent a lot of time
00:54:36when
00:54:36we were talking about live morgan and becky lynch and everyone who got involved after that match
00:54:41talking about the women's division and guess what what name we didn't bring up bailey bailey could be
00:54:46back in that picture absolutely a second absolutely especially after tonight i know you see that
00:54:52suicide dive through the table insane all it takes is bailey to decide she's doing it and it could
00:54:58happen and it would appear i mean i mean a big question is going to be does she have lyra
00:55:04off her
00:55:05back i know does she not have to worry about lyra valkyria anymore i mean one would think yes but

00:55:12want to speak for anybody i know especially this version of lyra who i mean has shown there's there's

00:55:46talk to us from from backstage a little pre-tape segment with solo sokoa on the way
00:55:53to solo sokoa versus royce keys one-on-one in brooklyn new york next monday on monday night raw
00:56:04this is going to be an absolutely colossal colossal match watching solo sokoa kind of
00:56:13raise in the ranks as a de facto leader amongst his brothers jimmy and jay usso but also i mean
00:56:21there was a moment tonight where they went to that uh pre-taped uh promo segment with solo sokoa
00:56:29talking by the car by the car yes and roman reigns to see roman reigns in a pre-tape promo
00:56:37like that
00:56:37is already something you don't see every day no but especially one where solo sokoa
00:56:44is front and center solo sokoa the superstar who started his main roster career by being a silent
00:56:54assassin whose only goal in life was to please his tribal chief is now wearing dark brown leather
00:57:03and two golden chains standing in front of roman reigns and the usos telling the world exactly what
00:57:13their mission is and if you look at roman reigns he couldn't be more satisfied he couldn't be more
00:57:20proud he couldn't be more happy with the solo sokoa that stands in front of him you see this is
00:57:27exactly who roman reigns is now we talk about this all the time about how roman is a different being
00:57:34now than he was before roman is about building greatness roman is about building greatness within
00:57:40his family and i think the fact that that that in this segment you saw roman reigns sitting back
00:57:48and just proudly allowing solo sokoa to do what he does with that spotlight i think says
00:57:54a huge amount about solo sokoa and the faith that roman reigns has in him but i think it also
00:58:00tells you
00:58:00a lot about where roman reigns is at right now and where he's at in terms of where he sees
00:58:08his family
00:58:09what is what do i always say about solo sokoa he's uh uh super swaggy i i do say that
00:58:16but i but i love
00:58:16where he's at and solo loves where he's at solo loves where he's at and i think seeing this image
00:58:22right making morant love where solo sokoa is at right now i love where solo sokoa is at right now
00:58:27i love where solo's at and i think seeing him in front and center of that pre-tape segment with

00:58:35usos behind him roman posting up by the car it's so crazy to me how quickly this has happened but

00:59:08interesting when you think about the relationship between solo and roman right now and what is going
00:59:15on what is going on because i don't think the usos know i don't think jacob knows i don't think

00:59:21i don't know roman and solo know the arrangement he's happy with solo sokoa but solo sokoa hasn't
00:59:28acknowledged roman reigns he says between me and the tribal chief the usos acknowledged roman reigns
