00:19Railway Headquarters but also in all four Divisional Headquarters, Vishakapatna, Vijay
00:23Wada, Guntakal and Guntung Division. Further, South Coast Railway has deputed officers in the field where there is a possibility
00:31of more rainfall and wind speeds in order to assist the train running during the cyclonic conditions. Under the direction
00:40of Honorable Minister of Railway
00:42S.R. Ashwini Vaishnawji and under the coordinating effort of our General Manager S.R. Sandeep Madhur, the entire South
00:49Coast Railway team is trying for the safe and secure running of trains
00:53during the cyclonic conditions. In order to facilitate passengers, we have made various efforts. We have kept all the stalls
01:01in the major stations open, providing drinking water and food facilities for the passengers. Our teams are working on the
01:09field, on the stations to assist the passengers. In around more than 24 major stations of South Coast Railway, we
01:17have opened a 24 by 7 helpline numbers.
01:20And also, we have undertaken lot of cancellations in order to avoid the running of trains during the cyclonic conditions.
01:28Around 40 passenger trains and around 50 male express trains have been cancelled. And this information we have been posting
01:35regularly on the social media websites. And also we are circulating to the friends in the media and also TV.
01:42We request all the public to go through them. Further, we are also ready for any restoration if required.
01:49If there are any seeplages or if there are any incidents during the cyclonic conditions. Our monsoon specials are set
01:57up at more than 7 locations from Palasa to Pitragunta. Our tower cars more than 20 are waiting. And also
02:05we have made arrangements for the high capacity generators and JCBs and all other equipment which are essential for the
02:14restoration. And this we wanted to bring to the notice of the entire public through the media.
