The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is a supercar limited to just 33 units—all of which have already been sold. The vehicle exhibited at the Paris Motor Show pays homage to the French capital and its significance in the realms of elegance and haute couture.
The bodywork is enhanced by bespoke design elements reminiscent of damask fabric. The starting point is the four-leaf clover—the *quadrifoglio*—Alfa Romeo’s traditional lucky charm. In this context, the *quadrifoglio* highlights the historical link between Italian and French artistic and artisanal traditions. The design features of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale bridge the gap between the silk-weaving heritage of San Leucio, Genoa, and Como, and the textile traditions of Lyon and Paris.
The *quadrifoglio*—a symbol of Alfa Romeo’s motorsport successes since 1923—is presented here without its customary triangular frame, serving as the foundation for the entire decorative motif. Acanthus leaves and branches are accentuated through a combination of glossy and matte finishes in the same hue. As a result, the appearance of the surface shifts depending on how the light hits it, evoking the texture of damask.
The body design also incorporates sweeping lines and floral motifs inspired by the *Risorgimento*—the 19th-century Italian unification movement. These decorative elements follow the contours of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, further emphasizing its proportions and surface forms.
This Italian supercar is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine. Delivering over 463 kW (630 hp), the engine’s power is transmitted to the rear axle via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale reaches a top speed of up to 333 km/h and accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. Its technical features include an active suspension system and a braking system with carbon-ceramic discs from racing specialist Brembo®. Brake pedal inputs are transmitted electronically (brake-by-wire).
