00:00Hey everyone, welcome back. If you're setting up outdoor surveillance and need a PoE repeater that
00:05can actually survive rain, snow, and dust, I've hunted down the best 5 deals on waterproof units.
00:11Stick around because these picks give you solid performance without breaking the bank,
00:16and I'll tell you exactly why each one made the cut.
00:19First up is the Ingenious 2x4 Port Waterproof PoE Extender.
00:24What really stands out is its rugged IP55 rating, so you can slap it on a balcony or
00:29under a canopy and trust it won't short out. It gives you four 100 megabits per second ports for
00:34just $14.11, and with a 4.9-star rating from over 4,700 buyers, it's clear people love the
00:42combo
00:42of price and reliability. If you need a no-frills, budget-friendly hub for a few cameras, this is the
00:48one to grab. Next is the reliable 3x new 4-port IP55 Outdoor Waterproof PoE Repeater. This model
00:56steps up the build quality a notch, offering a sturdy metal housing that handles harsh weather
01:01while still delivering 100 megabits per second to each of its four ports. At $26.39 it's a bit
01:08pricier than the Ingenious, but you're paying for a brand that's proven itself with nearly 4,700 sales
01:14and a perfect 4.9 rating. It's a solid middle-ground choice when you want a little extra durability
01:20without splurging on gigabit speeds. The third contender is a 5-port PoE extender that bumps
01:26the data rate up to 1,000 megabits per second on compatible devices. Its biggest win is the extra
01:32port plus the ability to switch between 100 megabits per second and gigabit, all while staying IP55 rated.
01:40Priced at $16.72, it's still a bargain, and the 4.8-star rating from over 4,600 users shows
01:47it's a
01:47reliable workhorse for both indoor and outdoor setups. Perfect if you have a mix of cameras and
01:53maybe a wireless AP that could use the extra bandwidth. Now let's talk about the Harako
01:583-port Gigabit PoE Extender. This one goes full-on with an IP67 rating, meaning it can handle full
02:05immersion in water, great for those really exposed spots. It supports true 1,000 megabits per second
02:11on all three ports and powers up to 120W, so high-end PTZ cameras won't struggle.
02:17At $41.85 it's the most expensive on the list, but the upgrade in waterproofing and gigabit
02:24performance makes it worth the investment for demanding installations. Finally, we have the
02:29HKBTM4 port PoE extender, the ultra-budget champion at just $9.49. Despite the low price,
02:36it still carries an IP55 rating and a 4.9-star rating from over 4,200 buyers.
02:43It's straightforward plug-and-play, perfect for hobbyists or anyone who needs a quick,
02:47inexpensive way to stretch a PoE line to a few cameras.
02:51If you're watching your wallet and don't need gigabit speeds, this little unit does the job
02:55nicely. That's the rundown on the top 5 waterproof PoE repeaters for outdoor surveillance.
