00:00Wildwood is filled with these extraordinary and eccentric characters.
00:04And we have a really robust cast of actors that can run the gamut of any emotional range.
00:11This would be the first time I've played a coyote.
00:14Hangry!
00:15Yes, coming up.
00:16I always appreciate the opportunities to just add voice.
00:21You're an outsider.
00:22The cast is so incredibly stacked.
00:25It was just so surreal to hear my voice next to their voices.
00:29You got Angelo Bassett as a general.
00:31These coyotes chased us.
00:32Into the woods.
00:34Everyone in the cast just does such a phenomenal job.
00:36Curtis, let's go kill some bandits.
00:39Carrie Mulligan is amazing. As every right-thinking person knows, Alexandra is not a cartoonish villain.
00:45She can be so intimidating and scary, but what makes her human is the fragility underneath.
00:50And Carrie Mulligan is able to command both of those things with incredible ability.
00:54I'd have given you your run of the woods.
00:56The run of it is not yours to offer.
00:58Brendan the Bandit King is played by Mahershala Ali.
01:04He is who one would think of as his hero, and yet he's got layers and grit and complexity.
01:09And Mahershala is funny and warm and also strong as hell.
01:12Outsider, you stay hidden in the trees and wait for my sitting.
01:15You'll get just that one chance, man.
01:17It's always an interesting challenge when you have protagonists who are kids.
01:21And when I found Peyton, I knew it immediately.
01:24It's baffling to me. I still feel like they accidentally hired me, like I don't know how this happened.
01:29This has to be a dream.
01:31She has such amazing command of her craft. Her voice has just this beautiful texture.
01:36They talk to a tree.
01:38She's thoughtful.
01:39Yes.
01:39And sensitive and funny.
01:40Hippies.
01:41And warm.
01:42And I can't see enough amazing things about Peyton. She's extraordinary.
01:45I'm so sorry.
01:46Oh.
01:47Hey, Curtis.
01:48Jacob Tremblay plays Curtis.
01:50Thank you.
01:51Yeah, there's still a little left in the bottom.
01:53Jacob made Curtis warm and funny and open-hearted.
01:56He made him funny without mocking him.
01:58He really is this full-fledged, nuanced character.
02:02And I think audiences are going to fall in love with him, largely because of Jacob's voice.
02:10There are no shortage of extraordinary actors in this movie.
02:13Somebody help me! I was ambushed by bandits!
02:18Give me one good reason why I shouldn't let you fall.
02:21Every single role required depth and complexity, and every actor brought it.
02:25Look, we were just blessed across the board in the people who agreed to be part of this crazy little
02:30adventure of ours.
02:31The thrill of the chase!
02:32Simply with the human voice, you have to imply intention and purpose.
02:38I hope you find what you have lost.
02:41Wait! Wait!
02:42And that makes it feel so emotionally resonant.
