This is a planet on the move - animals in every landscape are embarking on epic migrations in search of food, shelter, and love. Humans may believe they are the world’s greatest explorers, but that is not the case. Every day, millions of animals migrate across the globe, following paths that have been used for centuries. They soar, fly, and swim—from Antarctica to the African savanna, and from the Pacific Ocean to Alaska. This series immerses viewers in these incredible animal journeys. Follow a devoted humpback whale mother caring for her calf, along with dung beetles, monarch butterflies, resilient barn swallows, and many other species. Throughout their lives, these intrepid travelers migrate thousands of miles, navigating by the Earth’s magnetic field, the stars, the moon, ocean currents, and their own innate senses of land and sea. Join Jeremy Renner as he narrates these most extreme adventures.
