Its an exciting day! The prestressed concrete beam made of UHPC looks ready, but there is still one step left to go in the manufacturing process the prestressing needs to be released. At the moment this load of about 110 tons is still completely being exerted on the clamping devices. Now this force needs to be released hydraulically so that the prestressing is transferred to the concrete. Before it begins, the beam is completely measured and the electronic data capture systems are started. What will the outcome be?
