00:00Alright, quick one for you, if you're building a food-safe pumping setup,
00:03whether that's for brewing, an aquarium, or just moving water around,
00:07these are the 5 best transparent tubes for food-grade pumping I've found,
00:10and honestly, the prices on some of these are kind of silly.
00:14Let's dive in.
00:16First up is this transparent silicone rubber hose, and it's the crowd favorite for a reason,
00:20nearly 5,000 buyers and a perfect 5-star rating.
00:24It comes in sizes from 2 all the way up to 14mm,
00:27it's completely non-toxic in food-safe, and it stays nice and flexible without kinking on tight bends.
00:33At just $3.30 a meter, it's honestly hard to beat.
00:38Next up, if you need more length, this one gives you a full 5 meters of food-grade silicone for
00:43$5.56
00:44that works out to barely over a dollar a meter, which is wild for food-safe silicone.
00:50Sizes run from 2 to 12mm, it's soft enough to rot around corners easily,
00:54and with almost 5,000 sold at 4.8 stars, buyers clearly trust it.
00:59Number 3 is for the perfectionists out there, this tube comes in 27 different sizes,
01:04from a crazy-thin 0.5mm all the way up to 12.
01:08So whether it's precision dosing, a drip line, or your main pump line,
01:12there's a size that fits exactly right.
01:15It's just $2.59 a meter, and a 4.9-star rating from nearly 5,000 buyers says plenty.
01:22Number 4 might be the best value on the whole list,
01:2510 meters of transparent food-grade silicone for $3.56.
01:3010 meters.
01:32That's under 40 cents a meter.
01:35Sizes run from 2 up to a chunky 20mm, so it handles bigger pump lines too.
01:40The rating's a touch lower at 4.7, but with over 4,500 sold,
01:45it's still a really safe bet for long runs.
01:48And number 5 is the budget-friendly PVC option.
01:52It's a bit stiffer than silicone, which actually helps when you want the tube to hold its shape,
01:57and it's crystal clear so you can watch everything moving through it.
02:00It comes in 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12mm sizes, it's rated food grade,
02:06and at $4.47 with a 4.9-star rating, it's a smart pick if PVC suits your setup better.
