00:00Top 5 Tortoise Shell Barrettes for Everyday Style Video Script
00:04Okay, real talk, I went down a serious rabbit hole hunting for tortoise shell barrettes that
00:08actually hold up on a normal Tuesday, and I came off the other side with the best deals for top
00:125 tortoise shell barrettes for everyday style. Some of these cost less than a coffee. Let's get
00:19into it. First up, the one everybody's already buying, this acetate acrylic French barrette
00:25in that curved rectangle shape, with an automatic clip that snaps shut with one hand.
00:30That curve is the whole trick, it follows the shape of your head instead of sticking out like a little
00:34plastic plank. It's $3.78, it's sold over 4800 times, and at that price you can grab two and
00:42keep one in your bag, which is exactly what I did. Next, if you want the version that feels like
00:47actual
00:48jewelry, this handmade celluloid acetate French barrette is it. Handmade makes a difference you
00:53can feel, the tortoise pattern goes all the way through the material instead of sitting on top
00:57like paint, so it has that deep, glossy, expensive looking swirl. It's a claw, so it grips thick hair
01:04without sliding out by lunch. $5.04, 4.6 stars, over 4600 sold. Worth the extra buck 50, honestly.
01:15Then there's the steal of the list, a tortoiseshell French barrette with a little rhinestone detail,
01:20acetate with crystal accents on the side. It's the one I reach for when my bangs are doing whatever they
01:25want, because it pins them back flat and still looks intentional instead of I gave up. $2.76,
01:32a perfect 5-star rating, and 4500 people agree. That's the cheapest one here and it does not look
01:39cheap. Number 4 is the fun one, a French chain hair clip with that Korean ink tortoiseshell and
01:44leopard print, and a spring clip that opens wide and bites down hard. The chain detail is what gets me,
01:50it drapes just slightly and makes a plain ponytail look like you planned it. $5.59, 4.7 stars,
01:57almost 3900 sold. If you want one barrette that reads as a statement piece, this is the one.
02:04So those are my 5. Every link is in the description below, and they're all cheap enough that you can
02:10try to without overthinking it. If this helped, give it a like and hit subscribe,
02:15I've got plenty more of these hiding in my saved folders.
