00:00Okay, so my kitchen sink started leaking from that little ring around the drain, you know,
00:04that slow drip that turns your cabinet into a science experiment.
00:08A couple of months of ignoring it later, I went on a hunt for the best silicone sink seals for
00:13leaky drains, checked dozens of listings, and honestly, these five are the ones worth your
00:17money. Here's my top five, ranked from the one I'd grab in a panic to the one I'll probably buy
00:22two
00:23of. Starting at number five, this is the 70-75mm silicone drain plug, the kitchen sink plug sewer
00:30pipe sealing ring, about $5.64. What I like is the sizing, 70-75mm is right there on the listing,
00:38so you can actually measure before you order and know it's gonna fix your drain instead of playing
00:42a guessing game. It's a water plug too, so it doubles as a stopper when you need to fill the
00:47sink for soaking dishes. For five bucks, that's a really low-risk purchase.
00:53Next up, the multi-size silicone drain sewer pipe sealing ring, around $3.87, and yes,
00:59this is the cheapest one on the list, which surprised me. Multi-size is the big selling
01:04point, because these rings have to flex and stretch to fit whatever diameter pipe you're
01:08working with. There's also a washing machine hose connector built in, so if you've got a washer
01:14draining into the same pipe, this one's for you. Thousands of people have bought it and it's
01:19holding a 4.6 rating, so it's not some flimsy throwaway. Now this one might be my favorite
01:25overall. The silicone sink stopper sewer pipe sealing ring with the 4.8 rating, 4.8, that's
01:31about as close to perfect as these get, and it comes in under $5. What really sold me is
01:37how tightly it seals against sewer gas. Anti-odor was the whole reason I went looking in the first
01:42place, and this ring does it properly, it sits flat, it doesn't warp, and it keeps that funky
01:47smell from coming back up the pipe. The silicone bathroom sewer seal ring, kitchen sink sewer pipe
01:53plug, washing machine anti-odor leakage floor drain seal connector plug, at $6.13, is the priciest of
01:59the bunch, but it's the most versatile bathroom, kitchen, floor drain, washing machine connector,
02:04all in one. If your plumbing situation is a bit of a mystery, this is the one that covers all
02:09the
02:09bases. It's also the most popular, with over 4,600 units sold. Finally, number one, my top pick,
02:18the durable silicone sewer pipe sealing ring at just $4.49. It also carries a 4.8 rating, which ties
02:25for the highest, but it's cheaper than my number two pick and it works as a replacement stopper for
02:30your kitchen sink or your bathtub. That combination of durable silicone and a real one-to-one stopper
02:36function is what won me over. It's the one I'd buy first if I were you.
