00:00Top 5 4G LTE Routers for Off-Grid Work
00:04Midnight, Hook
00:05Ok, quick question, where does your Wi-Fi actually come from when you're 40 miles from the nearest town,
00:11on a job site with no signal, or parked at a trailhead for the weekend?
00:15If the answer is nowhere, then you need a 4G LTE router,
00:18and I just spent way too long narrowing down the best ones so you don't have to.
00:22I check prices, real reviews, battery life, and what kind of networks each one actually supports,
00:28and these are the top 5 for off-grid work, starting with this pocket router that's basically a hotspot,
00:33a powerbank, and your best friend all-in-one, for under 25 bucks.
00:38012 Product 1 American Version 4G LTE Pocket Wi-Fi Router
00:423000 mAh, 150 MBps
00:46Number 1 is this American Version 4G LTE Pocket Wi-Fi Router.
00:51It's $24.48, it's rated 4.9 stars by almost 5,000 buyers, and here's why I love it,
00:57a 3,000 mAh battery and a SIM card slot, so you can pop in any data plan and stay
01:03online for a full
01:03shift without hunting for an outlet. It supports North America, South America, and the Caribbean,
01:09and at 150 Mbps it handles email, video calls, and browsing with no drama.
01:16If you need the cheapest reliable way to get connected today, this is the one.
01:21037 Product 2 Professional 300 Mbps Color Screen Hotspot
01:27Number 2 is this Professional 300 Mbps 4G LTE Wi-Fi Modem Hotspot,
01:32and at $19.30, it's the cheapest on the list.
01:36The standout feature is the color screen, I know that sounds like a small thing,
01:40but being able to glance at your signal strength and battery level instead of guessing is genuinely
01:45useful when you're working in a truck or a tent. It connects your phone, laptop, and tablet all at
01:50once, so it's the budget pick for someone who just needs internet that works.
01:55102 Product 3 GL.init Moody V2 GL is 750 V2
02:00Number 3 is the big one, the GL.init Moody V2, and this is the serious off-grid workhorse.
02:07It's $147, so it's the premium option, but nothing else here comes close, 750 Mbps speeds,
02:15full open WRT firmware, which means you can install a VPN, ad blocking, custom apps, the
02:20whole deal, plus a micro SD card slot that takes up to 1TB for storing logs, maps, and
02:25files offline. With a 4.9 rating and thousands of units sold, this is what I'd buy if I'm working
02:32remotely for weeks. 127 Product 4 4G per 5G 3000 mAh MiFi Router
02:40Number 4 is this 4G per 5G mobile Wi-Fi router with the 3000 mAh battery and a SIM card
02:46slot.
02:47It's $19.86, another bargain, and the reason I picked it over the other budget models is simple,
02:534G and 5G band support means it's far more likely to grab a signal in the odd country or the
02:58odd
02:58carrier. $19, a solid 4.6 rating, over 3000 sold, that's a lot of proven performance for
03:05this price. 217, outro. Alright, that's my top 5, links to every single one are in the description
03:13below, so you can pick the right router for how far off the grid you actually go. If this
03:18saved you some research, smash that like button, hit subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one.
