00:00The following fight is set for OneFall
00:03with a 60-minute time limit,
00:07and it is for the MLW Women's World Championship.
00:15Introducing first the challenger,
00:18representing Haith from Sardom,
00:22the Pink Devil, Rina!
00:28What a dream match it was
00:31when the stars of the most preeminent brand
00:34of women's professional wrestling of all over the world,
00:38Sardom, made their way to Major League Wrestling
00:41for the very first time.
00:43Sardom versus MLW Dream Match.
00:45It was the Pink Devil, Rina, just 19 years of age,
00:50who scored that winning fall,
00:52and Sardom scored a big win in NYC.
00:57Yes, the woman of hate coming over,
00:59representing Sardom, getting the win
01:02over two of the best female wrestlers on the planet,
01:07Shotzi and Lady Frost.
01:09Harass, abuse, terrorize, and eradicate.
01:13Those are the tenets of HATE.
01:15And her opponent, from Oakland, California,
01:20she is the MLW Women's World Champion,
01:28Shotzi!
01:33And I've got to give props to Shotzi,
01:36because she's the type of champion,
01:38and a lot of similarities, Tom,
01:40to our Men's World Champion, Killer Cross.
01:43Shotzi does not back down from a fight,
01:46just looked for a way out.
01:47Sardom came in, scored a big win.
01:49Shotzi said, hell yeah, I'll fight them one-on-one.
01:52Put the title on the line.
01:53I'm ready, let's go.
01:56Yeah, so both champions effectively
01:58manifested their own destinies.
02:01They've envisioned themselves as champions.
02:03They came in, they set that goal right off the bat,
02:06and they achieved it,
02:07and they are ready to defend that title at any time.
02:12And that howl, that battle cry,
02:15echoing throughout South Philadelphia.
02:18That's also a rallying cry,
02:20as these fans stand behind the thrill-seeker,
02:25Shotzi, living life on the edge of a lightning bolt,
02:29and set for a matchup of international proportions.
02:34You know, the MLW press box is full, as per usual,
02:38govern this all over the world.
02:42And there you see, center of the ring,
02:45the prestigious prize at stake that,
02:49and I know disrespect to any former MLW women's champion,
02:53because we've had some incredible ones,
02:56but I don't know if anybody has done anything
02:59to increase the scope and the prestige
03:01of that women's championship to the level that Shotzi's done.
03:04No, certainly not.
03:08I don't think it's any hyperbole when I say that Shotzi has captured
03:14the hearts and the imagination of the MLW fans,
03:17like no other woman that we have had step into that ring.
03:21Since day one, when Shotzi came on the scene in MLW,
03:24she wanted to be the champion.
03:25She wanted to be at the center of it all,
03:28and take the MLW women's title to new frontiers
03:32and uncharted territories.
03:33She's done just that side-headlock takeover as action officially begins.
03:38Keep in mind, when Team Stardom won that matchup in New York City,
03:44a big reason for that was no doubt the dissension between Shotzi and Lady Frost,
03:51who never really were on the same page, even when it seemed on the surface they were functioning together well.
03:57No, it's tough enough when you're in there with Rina,
04:02when you're in there with Saya Kabatani,
04:03but when you cannot trust your own partner, who you're tagging with,
04:08that adds a whole new element of danger, and that's exactly what Haight was able to take advantage of.
04:13Shotzi swings through with a Tiger Fane kick,
04:17and feeding off the energy in Philadelphia.
04:20What a raucous crowd we have this week, high kick.
04:23Yeah, and you can see that that energy really drives Shotzi, as it has over the past year.
04:32Rina, back with that shotgun drop kick, scored big, and Shotzi shot back into that corner.
04:42Rina, we've talked about it, only 19 years of age, started competing at age 11.
04:46This is something she has worked towards all of her life,
04:50and her and her two sisters both very successful professional wrestlers over in Japan.
04:56Rina's already held the Artist of Stardom Championship and the future.
05:00A Stardom Championship, certainly many more accolades to come in time.
05:05Could be her biggest here tonight if she knocks off Shotzi.
05:08You're not going to mention her stealing your nickname?
05:11You mean the Pink Devil?
05:12Yeah, absolutely.
05:14Not so sure.
05:15That's what they used to call you back in the day.
05:17Back in what day? Never mind.
05:19Rina now.
05:20Well, she's hoping they call her champion later on tonight and tomorrow and into the future.
05:26And I mean, if she can dethrone Shotzi,
05:29she has been on such a roll.
05:31You know, Rina is young, but she is a veteran.
05:34But this would clearly be the biggest win of her career.
05:36And it would no doubt be the biggest win of Josh Bishop's career
05:40if he's able to dethrone Killer Kross for the MLW World Heavyweight title in a last man standing match.
05:47Coming up Saturday, November 7th at Saturday Night Super Fight, MLW's return to pay-per-view the last time these
05:54two met one-on-one.
05:55They nearly tore apart the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee beyond repair.
06:00What will happen when the only way to defeat your opponent is to keep them incapacitated for a count of
06:07ten?
06:08We'll find out November 7th, pay-per-view at veeps.com.
06:13Right there, she had the cross-arm breaker.
06:15Oh, oh!
06:16And she transitioned into the far side, snapping it back.
06:19And that not only is going to create great torque on the shoulder, but also the elbow, the wrist.
06:25A triple threat really there from Rina with that armbar attack.
06:30You could easily break an arm that way, right?
06:32It would probably break both of yours.
06:34That's no question.
06:36And Shotzi in a bad way.
06:39Rina's one of those athletes that, and certainly living up to that reputation as Pink Devil,
06:44you look at the colored hair and the flashy attire, and you may get a certain perception of who and
06:50what she is,
06:50but once you feel her lethal force, the mood changes.
06:55And Shotzi gets the foot up, and is now fighting for survival.
07:00Fighting out of the corner.
07:01Shotzi unloading.
07:03And up until now, this match has really been all of Rina.
07:05The first sustained offense from Shotzi.
07:09And Shotzi digging deep for that wolf-like fury.
07:13Face plant.
07:14Rina in a bad way at the moment.
07:16Shotzi.
07:18Suplex in the corner.
07:20And that was intentional, Tom.
07:21You could see Shotzi wanted Rina to have that high and tight landing.
07:25Ankles hit the buckle.
07:27Head and neck hit the canvas.
07:28And there's Shotzi!
07:30The chupacabra!
07:31And Shotzi really pouring it on, trying to get the win quickly here.
07:35Could be enough!
07:37And that shoulder just exposed ever so slightly.
07:41You could see the emotion overcoming Shotzi with that near fall.
07:47Knowing how important this victory would be.
07:49Knowing that the competitive nature of the women's division grows seemingly by the week.
07:54And certainly with the news that Tessa Blanchard will make her MLW debut at Saturday Night Super Fight November 7th
08:02on Veeps.com.
08:03Those stakes get raised even further.
08:06But right now it's Shotzi Arena exchanging shots at a ring.
08:10And Shotzi holding her stance, holding her territory, center of the ring.
08:16And making Rina bring the fight to her.
08:18But no hesitation from the challenger.
08:29Rapid fire by Shotzi.
08:31As she gains an edge.
08:32I'll be it for a moment.
08:34Oh!
08:35Oh, snapping through with a hip block takeover.
08:37Beautiful.
08:38Harai Ghoshy.
08:40Judo throw.
08:41And she could make the cover here.
08:43Shotzi, at least, if nothing more or nothing less, has the wind knocked out of her to a great degree.
08:50Oh, we saw this in New York City.
08:51Oh!
08:52The pink devil knee drop.
08:54This could do it.
08:55Shotzi's not moving.
08:56New champion Shotzi just barely able to find a way to get her shoulders up.
09:05Oh, the force.
09:06The compressive force of those knees right into the abdomen of Shotzi.
09:12You can see she's having a tough time getting up.
09:16She's fighting back, as always.
09:18Rina tried to hook at a suplex, but maybe said Shotzi wasn't where she wanted her to be.
09:22And Shotzi tried to keep Rina from getting ahead of steam.
09:26Pup handle overhead suplex.
09:31Now, that was great wherewithal, great improvisation by Shotzi.
09:35Great wherewithal.
09:36I mean, do I need to point out the fact that she grabbed a hold of Rina's costume to complete
09:42the throw?
09:44Is that what happened?
09:45Yeah, that's absolutely what happened.
09:47As Rina took off to the ropes, I mean, you often see the woman from Japan with these elaborate costumes,
09:52and that paid off for Shotzi there.
09:55Desperated.
09:56Wait a minute now.
09:56Rina.
09:57Oh!
09:58Staps back.
10:00Up that octopus and tries to count only.
10:04And that intensity, that impact.
10:06This match has been about as chaotic as two women can make one so far.
10:10Look at this.
10:10It's a cradle.
10:11Shotzi the counter.
10:13Oh!
10:13Shotzi, did she get it?
10:15Oh, no.
10:16Only a two.
10:16About as long of a near fall as you're going to find.
10:21Shotzi roundhouse combo kick.
10:22Yeah, the rolling kick, I think it caught Rina right in the temple, sending her to the outside.
10:29Rina's dazed.
10:29But Shotzi feel that urgency to score through with a tope suicida.
10:41And Shotzi covered a good, take a look, what is that, 10 feet on that dive, sending Rina all the
10:47way into the barricade.
10:49Yeah, steel barricade and concrete floor.
10:51And I read Shotzi's lips a moment ago.
10:54I believe she said, this is my house.
10:55Defending her turf, MLW.
10:59Shotzi able to avoid some of that impact on the corner, but none of that STO takedown.
11:07It's another judo-type throw by Rina.
11:13And Shotzi in a bad way, but notice the urgency and the quickness that Shotzi gets back in the...
11:20Wait a minute!
11:21Rina's kicked the rope of the referee!
11:25And Rina...
11:27What is that, a count of nine tails?
11:29And whipping Shotzi!
11:32She's whipping the champion.
11:35Where did this come from?
11:37Now you see some of that hate mentality.
11:40Some of that abuse, that terrorizing.
11:43That harassment.
11:45As Shotzi's being choked, and perhaps her title reign will be eradicated.
11:50And there's no one here to stop Rina.
11:54The referee had no idea what happened.
11:56He was trying to get in the ring.
11:58And wait a minute!
11:59This is going to be the pink devil!
12:02Rina's namesake!
12:04Rina's going to win the Rebels title!
12:06Hate!
12:07Hate is going to be in control of the World Championship!
12:10Two!
12:11Down!
12:12No!
12:16Arena's in shock!
12:18And these fans are standing!
12:23They harassed and abused the ref.
12:25They terrorized Shotzi.
12:28They almost eradicated her hold on the Women's Championship.
12:33Can't eradicate.
12:34Shotzi's spirit!
12:35Second attempt at the pink devil!
12:37Shotzi!
12:37Roll through!
12:38Sunset flip!
12:39Stacks her up!
12:41No!
12:43My God!
12:45What a fight!
12:46What a Women's title match!
12:48I can't believe Shotzi was able to reverse that midair with the momentum and get that takeover.
12:54And now she's in the drop zone.
12:56We've seen it before!
12:58Syntag scores big!
13:01Look at the leg!
13:02Shotzi survives!
13:03Here is your winner and still MLW Women's World Champion Shotzi!
13:14What an absolute fight that was!
13:18With eyes watching from around the world!
13:21Shotzi survived the pink devil!
13:24Her best shot has scored with a senton for the win!
13:29You said it best.
13:30That was a fight from start to finish.
13:33Rina brought all of the hate that she had in her soul.
13:38But Shotzi able to turn back the challenge.
13:43Shotzi survives!
13:44But for how long?
13:46From stardom to contra!
13:48The walls may be closing in!
13:50Shotzi is a target!
13:53Resist the card!
