00:00Best Anime Art Books Under $50 Voice-Over Script
00:04Ok, real talk, if you've ever tried to draw anime and ended up with a face that looks like a
00:08melted potato, this one's for you.
00:10I went digging through the Best Anime Art Books Under $50, and honestly, a couple of these cost less than
00:16a coffee.
00:17Some have thousands of sales and near-perfect ratings, so let's get into it.
00:22First up, the Anime Character Line Art Drawing Book for Beginners, 48 pages of simple hand-drawn outlines you can
00:28trace in practice painting.
00:30No intimidating theory, no walls of text, just clean lines you follow with your pencil until your hand remembers the
00:36shapes.
00:37It's $6.12, it's got almost 5,000 sales, and it's sitting at 4.9 stars.
00:44If you're a total beginner who freezes at a blank page, this is your starting point.
00:49Right behind it is basically it's twin, the Anime Character Line Art Drawing Book, 48 pages of outline patterns, same
00:56beginner-friendly idea, and it's $6.03.
00:59Slightly cheaper, slightly different set of patterns, and 4.9 stars across more than 4,700 sales.
01:06My honest take?
01:08Grab whichever cover you like more, or grab both, because two of these together still cost less than one lunch.
01:15Now if you want finished art to study instead of outlines to trace, that's where Little Mushroom Volumes 1 through
01:204 comes in.
01:22It's a Chinese sci-fi Danmei Manhua by Isher Seizhou, and the illustrations are genuinely gorgeous, soft, moody, full of
01:29atmosphere you can learn from just by staring at them.
01:322561 gets you all four volumes, and it's holding a perfect 5-star rating across 4,500 sales.
01:39Next, the Anime Character Animal Line Art Drawing Book.
01:43Same beginner tracing format, 46 pages, but this one throws animals and creature shapes into the mix ears, tails, wings,
01:50all those little details that make a character feel alive instead of stiff.
01:55$7.34, 4.8 stars, 4,500 sold.
01:59Great follow-up once you've got the basic faces down and want to branch out.
02:04So that's the list, 5 books, every single one under $50, and honestly most of them under $8.
