00:00School award day coming up and budget tight?
00:03I went down a rabbit hole on metal sports medals under 5 bucks, and honestly, some of these look way
00:08more expensive than they are.
00:10Here's what I'd actually buy.
00:13First up, the zinc alloy swimming competition medal, 5 cm across, with a neck ribbon already attached.
00:20Ribbons the thing people forget, this one comes ready to hand out.
00:24Solid metal finish, feels heavier than 4 dollars should feel.
00:28It's 4 dollars and 1 cent with almost 5,000 sold and a 4.8 rating.
00:33Safe pick if you want zero surprises.
00:36Then there's the creative metal sports medals in gold, silver, bronze and this is the value one at 2 dollars
00:42and 25 cents.
00:44Same 5 cm size, and you get the full podium set, so first, second and third all match.
00:50It's got a 4.9 rating, which is the highest in this whole list.
00:55If you're buying for a whole class, start here.
00:58Number 3 is basically the same zinc alloy swimming metal, 5 cm, ribbon included, durable finish, but it's 2 dollars
01:05and 1 cent.
01:07That's the cheapest single metal I found that still holds a 4.8 rating with nearly 4,000 sales.
01:13Same quality, 2 bucks cheaper.
01:16No reason to pay more for the identical look.
01:19Fourth one's the 5 cm swimming metal set with neck ribbon, marked 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
01:25Straight 5 star rating, which almost never happens.
01:29It's 4 dollars and 25 cents.
01:32You're paying a little more for the pre-labeled placement medals, so you don't have to sort out who gets
01:37what at the ceremony.
01:39Worth it if you're running the event yourself.
01:42Last is the same 1st, 2nd, 3rd place metal set, 4 dollars and 93 cents, 4.9 rating, over 3
01:49,600 sold.
01:50It's the priciest here, but the reviews back it up.
01:54Good option if you want the labeled set and you're okay spending close to 5 dollars a medal.
