LeBron James has drawn criticism from Donald Trump after the president accused the Philadelphia 76ers star of disrespecting America during the national anthem. Trump shared a video on Truth Social showing James stretching his arms and mimicking basketball shots alongside his teammates before a game, calling on the NBA legend to apologize to American heroes who died defending the country. While some viewers believe James was simply using golf swings as part of his warmup, the footage prompted Trump's public reaction. The controversy comes after James made his competitive debut for the 76ers, leading the team to a 106-100 win over the defending champion New York Knicks.
