00:00Failed, right?
00:01Prophet Nuh called his people for 950 years,
00:04but the results were small.
00:06Yet, that does not mean he was a failure.
00:09He was considered one of the most determined prophets.
00:13I think that is a mindset we need to adopt.
00:15You plant your seed, you work hard, you put in your best,
00:18but it's not up to you.
00:20And what's even more painful about Nuh's story
00:21is that his own son did not believe in him.
00:24Imagine you are doing your best,
00:26you put your kids in an Islamic school,
00:27you teach them everything, good values,
00:29you do Salah, you do activities,
00:30and then they turn away from Islam.
00:32You think, what have I done wrong?
00:35But again, Allah will not judge you for the outcome.
00:37He will ask if you did your part.
00:39Just like Prophet Nuh,
00:40he couldn't control his son,
00:42but he did his part, he called his son.
00:43He tried his best,
00:44and then his son decided not to believe.
00:47So as painful as that is,
00:49we detach from the results,
00:50but we have to ask,
00:51have we put in the effort?
00:53Will we sincere?
