00:00Hi-Fi stereo preamp equalizers every audiophile needs
00:04Ever feel like your speakers are holding back, flat vocals, muddy bass, no life in the mix?
00:10Same
00:11So I dug through thousands of listings and pulled 5 preamp EQs that actually earn their spot on your rack
00:17Some cheap, some serious, all worth a look
00:20Here are the best deals I found
00:23Starting with the crowd favorite, the EQ998BT
00:28Bluetooth 5.0, USB input, digital HD tuning, and a remote so you never leave the couch
00:34It sold over 4,700 units at $96.94, which tells you people trust it
00:41Fair warning, rating sits at 3.5, so read the reviews before you commit
00:46But if you want a full home or stage EQ with wireless built-in, hard to beat that price
00:52Next, my personal pick, the KnobSound D5
00:565-band EQ plus a 1-in-4-out-slash-4-in-1-out selector, so you're switching between sources
01:01without crawling behind your rack
01:02And that retro VU meter?
01:06Gorgeous
01:08$118.99, and it holds a 4.9 rating across nearly 4,800 buyers
01:14That's the number I trust most on this whole list
01:18If you're tuning a car, skip the home gear, grab the Y45A
01:235-band parametric EQ, crossover built-in, designed for car stereo tuning
01:28It's $21.44
01:3221 bucks
01:33Over 4,600 people bought it and it's sitting at 4.6 stars
01:39No reason not to try it at that price
01:42Now the compact one, the EQ5-slash-EQ5 Pro Mini
01:465-bands, Bluetooth receiver, 3.5mm AUX, bypass, balance control, VU meter
01:54It's the one that disappears on your desk but does everything
01:59$196.88 and 4.7 stars
02:01It's the priciest pick here, but if you want small footprint in full control, this is it
02:07Links for all 5 are in the description below, check the ratings yourself before buying
02:12If this helped, drop a like and subscribe, more gear breakdowns coming
