00:00Ok, real talk, if you've ever wanted to build your own custom watercolor palette without dropping 40 bucks on a
00:05fancy brand name box, stick around.
00:08I went digging and found 5 metal watercolor palette tins that every painter needs, and some of these deals are
00:13honestly kind of ridiculous.
00:16Let's start with the cheapest one.
00:18This empty watercolor palette tin is just $3.68, and it's exactly what it says, a solid little metal box,
00:25lightweight, portable, and it closes up so your pans don't rattle around in your bag.
00:30Almost 5,000 people have already grabbed one, and with a 4.8 rating, it's honestly the easiest way to
00:36find out if a metal tin setup is your thing.
00:39Now, if you want something that shows up ready to paint, this next one comes with 14 full pans already
00:44inside.
00:46It's $10.17, it's got a proper lid that keeps everything sealed for travel, and since full pans hold a
00:52nice amount of paint, it handles watercolor, gouache, even oil if you're feeling brave.
00:57Over 4,000 sold and a perfect 5-star rating, hard to argue with that.
01:02This one's my pick for students and sketchbook people.
01:05It's a mini watercolor tin with a 12 or 24 grid layout, and it's $3.52, that's basically pocket change.
01:13It slips into a backpack or tote without you even noticing it's there, which makes it the perfect little travel
01:19palette for painting on the go.
01:21Another perfect 5 stars, by the way.
01:25Okay, if you're the person who owns way too many colors, hi, it's me, this next tin is your dream.
01:31It holds 52 half pans and even has a fold-out mixing palette built right in, all for $13.91.
01:38That's basically a full studio setup that fits in a jacket pocket, and it's sitting at a 4.8 rating
01:43with over 4,000 sold.
01:46And for the sweet spot in between, this one runs $10.02 and comes with 26 half pans plus a
01:52lid.
01:52It's half the size of the big 52 pan, but double the colors of the 14 pan one, so it
01:58makes a great everyday carry palette.
02:00And yep, perfect 5-star rating on this one too.
02:04So those are my 5 picks, links to all of them are down in the description, and prices do move
02:08around, so double check before you click.
